I normally don't watch videos more than 5 minutes long, but I've been getting distracted so easily these past few months, with no focus on what matters, extremely high on dopamine, and then I came across this video, and it just made me watch it completely and I could feel the peace you've shown by just keeping your distance from social media. one thing that was the highlight for me was "by being high on dopamine, we lose the ability to make our own decisions". Thank you, I loved this.

video games are my version of this, it is only because having ADHD means my dopamine production is further reduced by things I don't want to do, therefore already making this feel like a losing battle

I don't think no music is going to do much compared to no smart phone. I've been living my life simplified for two years now, I have a flip phone, I listen to music on my walkman or vinyl record player, I read books, practise golf and boxing along with the gym and I recently got into trading and learning the stock market. My point is you can't take away everything, you have to have something to pass the time and if I take music again for an example, it's been around for hundreds of years and many great minds in the past listened to music. Just be responsible on what you take out and what you keep and you can lead a fairly healthy life.
