I always wondered what became of her. We know that Yrre did eventually come back to find her, but she in turn never returned. Given the events of the game's plot, I can only presume she returned to Baldur's Gate and possibly fell afoul of one of Gortash's schemes to secure his power base in the city (or maybe was chosen as a victim by Orin's Bhaalists).

Now that I think about it, GE's ability to intensify one's senses feels like a version of The World's Time Stop process, except Time is only slowing down more with each punch
