I'm a former MK4 Supra single turbo owner/builder (1100+hp). I have three Land Cruisers and a GD3 Honda Fit manual. Life's good. Nice video and overview.
I remember having to buy a headlight for one of those a long long time ago and it was not cheap, also if I remember right the carburetor and petcock Are All one piece so you can't rebuild the petcock you have to buy a whole new carburetor , but man I sure loved that one that I had !
Is that what a Tesla on autopilot does? That was almost game over. It's getting increasingly scary for riders of small bikes. I had a 2T Stella (P-series copy) for a long time, I can't imagine being out there on it these days, though. But I do love your bike. Thanks for this quick adventure.
This video is suppper helpful🙏🙏 been struggling to find my pickups fault same issue. Going to check that because all power is fine , relay and fuses fine thats the only thing i havent thought to inspect
i’m 21 just got my gd3 as my first car honestly don’t think i’ll ever need another car (except maybe an altezza) it came with problems and don’t know much about fixing stuff and i think i need a new cat:((
i got scammed a lil :/ hatch lock actuator i think not working passenger side rear lock actuator and honestly first gear is very sensitive it makes a thump noise in my left front wheel if i’m not pushing it with my pinkie toe
This is the perfect car for someone living in an urban area where parking can be at a premium. I always like these when I've seen them along with the Matrix's & Pontiac Vibe's.
Strange. I just bought a 2008 Honda Fit Sport off Craigslist. Basically bought the car sight unseen. Just off pictures etc. I took buses 3 different companies from Northern Maine to NYC. Then a cab ride to Brooklyn. The car had 26,947 miles, and was one owner. Woman 70 years old. Always garage kept. Red, just like yours. I love it! What’s funny, you mentioned Miata. I have one of those too. 1999 Miata NB with 44,600 miles. Never driven in salt. ( that’s red too) I bought that 6 years ago in Western Colorado with 24,600 miles from the second owner. 62 year old woman. She owned it 14 years. The Honda is going to be my winter car, Miata summer car with my Chevy Metro (owned 12 years with 243,000 miles) as my daily driver. I’m retired. I’m leaving here for 6 months in the winter and following the weather to Mexico most likely. ( Spent last winter in Mexico) That way, none of my cars will be driven in salt. I’ll just flip the insurance every 6 months.
Pessima auto. Pessimo acquisto.
I'm an American moved to Europe and wonder why 80% of cars here are manual, not auto. It's because they use Smaller Engines than in America! The Honda FIT here has a 1.2-1.4 engine! Manual is required to rev out the engine to accelerate cause they're using 1.0 liter engines with 67HP here! Gas is $7 bucks a gallon!
"Should be in a museum" Screw that....drive it. I have/had several antique Vespas and I rode the shit out of them. You are not the owner, you are the caretaker. Drive it. Enjoy it. And then sell it when you are done and let someone else can enjoy it. You only live once.
I put the same variator in mine, but I use the smaller weights in the variator all the way around. It's a bit slow on take-off. But when the power ban kicks it and it hits 42.. it maintains it nicely, only dropping about to 34-35 mph uphill. And that is with my fat 225lbs butt on it..
I’ve got a 2016 Jazz in bright orange. It’s a wicked little car, it fits a baby seat in the back seat and mountain buggy in the boot! Super efficient on fuel and easy to drive. I have a 65km commute each way to work and it does this just fine.
I have this same setup and taking it to Japan. Are you using it handheld? LOL that thing is heavy i cant imagine doing that all day haha. Im trying to find a tripod to pair with it that I can hold it from when vlogging. Nice vid. Any chance you remember the profile settings you were using? I love the colors.
Next time just climb up in the engine bay and reach down to do them. It’s not easy but much faster, a good workout. My number 2 plug was toast at 83k and so I changed them all and wires for good measure. I have the 2017 6.0 3500hd.
I have a 2004 Honda Jazz , ( I live in Thailand ) 251,000 k on the clock . Drives like new , I am a fan of Honda . I have had many cars in my life , discovered Honda , and never went back .
Bought my 2007 Honda Fit back in 12/2020 from Nalley Honda. It had 107,000 miles on it when I bought it. It currently has as of 10/2023, 247k miles. No issues at all. Great car for Instacart shoppers.
I've got a 2008 Honda Fit that is just about to hit 80,000 KM (yes, 80k kilometers). 5 speed manual. I inherited it from my mother when she passed away. Love the damn thing even though I also own a 2017 Tacoma and a 2017 MX-5 Miata RF GT.
I bought a 2017 Honda fit ex new and as of today September 19, 2023 I put 245,000 miles on the engine! The only thing that broke was the air and heater blower motor cost $400 to replace. This car is indestructable!
I have one. The kickstart is nice because there is a slipping device on it that locks up when kicking, but slips under the peak force of kickback. Prevents all kickback. It does slip too much sometimes and you have to bump start it though.
The kickstart is slipping because the clutch is out of adjustment. You loosen the locknut on the clutch cover and tighten the screw then back it off a little. Common issue on these honda semi auto engines
So you only changed 1 brake light ? And that managed to have the 3rd brake light to go off ? I’m currently having the problem when I turn on my headlights all 3 turn on even when not hitting the brakes
