Because they would stop you and harass you if you did the same thing. Plus they can scan your license plate and come up with any and everything. They are not civil servants. They are bullies and thugs for the law enforcement.

Way back in the 1960s in Andrews, North Carolina there was a water fountain downtown that ran 24/7. Their water came from wells and springs. It's been a while since I thought about that.
I was scared of germs! Lol I should have used my foot instead! No that's not true . I was at the fish hatchery buying fish food for my kids. It's smelly cat food. My hands were gross from giving it to the children. I didn't want to get my filth on the drinking fountain.

It grew up with the kids that went there in the 90s. Unfortunately, we're all either passively or actively depressed so that wasn't their best choice. Though they did capture that same essence in their interior. I think it started going downhill once they removed the balloon pillar. Or the option to have your birthday there.
My local McDonald’s is struggling to even hire enough people to keep the building open, not that it makes much of a difference, there’s almost never anyone in there anyway. This branch only opened 4 years ago too. Big loss for the company, that’s for sure
