If patients rely on Fit fecal test (which looks at blood in the stool sample) or the sigmoidoscopy (that only looks at a small portion of the colon), they are at risk. If there’s no history of colon cancer the test is given every 10 years. Kaiser is not providing the best medicine for their patients. They are providing the most cost effective treatment, at the cost of patients well being. Don’t be fooled!! No other GI group would be put a patients life at risk!! Tell your 👨⚕️ doctors that members of your family have had colonoscopies that found polyps. Don’t risk your life by taking inefficient test !

It would be great if KP would sponsor the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Races. The KP Northwest Dragon Boat team (KP Thriving Dragons) is struggling to get funding!
I am the same. Since I was 12 they always detected blood in my urine, only microscopic. Decades later, I still have hematuria. My doctor had my kidneys and bladder scanned and they found nothing. They now want me to see a urologist to find the source of my hematuria. I do remember my mother having a procedure done by a urologist and she was left shaken by it. and they came back with no findings. Here I am now in my mother's place and seeing a urologist for the same reason.....My mother is in her 70s and fit as ever. So I am not sure I would be brave like her and have an invasive procedure....Hematuria can mean nothing at all but my doctor is great and wants to do her due diligence.
They recently found micro urine blood in the urine only seen under a microscope but I think I am not gonna be able to endure the test you have to drink die and have a scope inserted into your bladder is there any other options
Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are, you are more honest than I imagined, thank you so much Dr Igudia RU-vid channel for curing my type 2 Diabetes, you are amazing
Respected Doctor, Recently my sister's 90 years old mother in law had a urine test. Following is an excerpt from her urine test report: "Urine r/e - sugar trace, 1 - 2 epi cells, 2 - 4 WBC, occ RBC. Urine culture: No growth". Instead of mentioning the number of RBC, the hospital has mentioned "occ RBC" . Does it indicate any serious condition? I would be grateful if you kindly let me know. Best regards.
I randomly had microhematuria on a routine urine dip at my pcp. Did the whole work up with urology, ct without contrast, cytology, cysto, and of course multiple uas. No evidence of tumors were found. That was about a year ago. I am now having intermittent dull, right flank pain and with home dipsticks am showing non hemolyzed blood. I am 38 and have smoked for consistently for more than 20 years. Do urinary cancers in stitu often present with microhematuria or gross?
@@indiangirlmaitree I’m great. Still continue to have intermittent right flank pain. Since last post, renal ultrasound revealed small simple cyst right kidney and very small left stone. Urology crnp refuses to do bladder ultrasound or further imaging unless I present with Frank blood, despite continued positive urine dip
I used to think having type 2 Diabetes disease was the end of life for me but all that change when I came across Dr Igudia on RU-vid who gave me his natural herbs medication which I used in curing my type 2 Diabetes .
Thank U, Dr Crook. Please be safe as U go on mission back to Ukraine. I’m praying for helpers like you. You R needed there & I’m sure you’ll feel the love from those U help. Stay well. Be safe, as much as it depends on U.
I’m a Kaiser member in Georgia USA & I do agree that the KP care system is the best. I’m older & have had other insurance coverage & none compares to KP. The level of care is so high bc the care providers have access to the entire care history of the patient so an integrated care is the result. Excellent doctors, & the employees have a loyalty to their employer so there is low turnover. Great care.
There's longevity in my family, but they don't usually stay this fit because they don't exercise. I am going to be the exception. Ladies like this are inspirational.
