amazing to still improve on such an amazing design, I was wondering if the geometry is all the same as the bushed set up and if its any lighter? its not cheap but defiantly on my shopping list
Thank you! We are stoked on the new front end. It has better clearance and it is a lot lighter. Also looks better!! The bearings make a big difference too feel free to reach out to cole@bowheadcorp.com for his professional opinion.
Congrats! New bikes are the best! The only thing that could make it better is if it was a Bowhead-you’d be out there riding in 2 months or less! 😄 But seriously, can’t wait for you to get out and enjoy the trails. Ride on!
@@Bowhead I tried the Rogue and it was just too tippy for me. I loved everything about it except that part. I'm very top heavy, so it's not an issue with the bike at all, just my weird body!
Great VIDEO, A little bit more to consider is to make sure the axles of both wheels lock on each side of the chair. The reason is the wheels get switched left to right all the time. Sometimes the axle receiver length including the receess (id chamfer) is deep causing the balls to stop differently left to right. Of course, if people always kept wheels left and right this would not be necessary. We find that most people take wheels off daily do not keep them on the correct side as some tires are designed. Enjoy the ride, LIFE!
@@Bowhead 🥳 I’m moving to YYC this weekend, I’ll be in touch soon. I’ve wanted to get back into biking since my injury. I played so many sports before and I’ve found it hard to capture the exhilaration with “traditional” disability sports like sledge and basketball. I love that skiing and biking allow us to enjoy the experience I’m looking for and allows us to join both able and disabled in the same way.
Are there any 3rd party reviews for these wheels? I'd really love to hear from a daily wheelchair user about their experience with these wheels before I drop $2k on a pair of wheels.
