Yes, you can use it for stretch marks, but not for active acne. If you needle on active acne you will spread the bacteria and cause more outbreaks and irritation.
Do you rinse the numbing cream with soap or it okay to wipe it off with a damp wash cloth? I've seen folks here wiped it off with cotton balls but not sure if that leaves residue. Thanks.
@@jvon4965 I remove it with dry gauze first, then use either gauze with witch hazel or a semi-wet towel to remove the rest. Sometimes after that I will use a cleanser, but usually just witch hazel.
Thanks!!! I checked your website for the numbing cream but for some reason it doesn’t show. Any recommendations over the counter numbing cream-brand in particular you trust? Thanks again
Are you supposed to be moving the pen that quickly across your face? I thought you were supposed to go slower.. is it because you’re using the shortest (nano) needle?
Hi there, Yes you move rather quickly. You do not want to move too slowly as then you will get a lot of penetrations in the same area and that can hurt the skin more than do good. You need to take into account how the patient's skin looks like, thickness, age and so on. It is never the same from person to person as all clients are unique. With the nano cartridges you can move very quickly or slow if you prefer, it is up to the practitioners themselves. I prefer to move faster with the nano, but with more passes.
I just received my Hydra Nano Needle pen. I’m excited to use it on my clients. How much should I charge for the 8 treatments? And what should I charge for a single treatment and an add on to a facial?
In this video, I am using a topical Exosome product mixed with Stem Cells that I got from a colleague. Nothing that we offer at this time, but I am testing it out
Madam, can you teach me how to clean before microneedling and how to use numbing cream? Do I need to clean the numbing cream before starting microneedling? Thanks❤
Hi Liz, I do microneedling every 4 weeks. Sometimes I stretch it out to every 6-8 weeks depending on if I do any other collagen stimulation treatments in between. Yes, it definitely works, BUT it is not surgery. You will have to have a realistic expectation, but I recommend you to take before and after pictures if you are planning to do a series of 3-6 treatments. We forget how we look like and the before and after pics really show you the difference in asking tightness and skin quality.
Any microneedling where you use a depth deeper than 0.25mm you would only do every 4 weeks. Too much collagen stimulation will have the opposite effect.
This depends from patient to patient what skin concerns they want to tackle and also how thick/thin their skin is, so everyone is different, no one is the same. In this video, I am doing 1.5-2mm on these areas.@@marlincec
It depends on the thickness of the skin patient skin concerns and age (b/c of the healing factor). I would not go deeper than 1.5mm if someone has thick leatery skin. I usually do 1mm on myself. if someone is sensitive and has thinner skin (more mature patients) I take it down to 0.5mm
.25-.5 and absolutely No higher, also this seems like an excessive amount of passes when I thought the recommendation was only 3 passes under the eyes. If you are too aggressive and use too deep of a depth or can actually cause damage and create even less collagen which is the exact opposite of what you want from my understanding
@@elettramia6380what I find so tricky is that it’s hard to know how much of the needles is flush with parts of the faces where there are inward curves such as under the eye orbital or the bridges of noses , sides of noses , etc so I always feel like I have to make more passes than I would normally do if I knew for sure it was making flush contact . 🤯
