Question on my sourdough starter.. so I have a starter that has already made bread, focaccia, and pizza. After probably 11-12 days of it becoming active enough to make bread I made a loaf of bread, focaccia, and pizzas. All was going well.. I fed after using it each time and then put it in the fridge while I didn’t need it. Then all of a sudden my starter is constantly hungry and has “hooch” on the top everyday. I took it out of the fridge for the past two days and fed it/discarded 2x per day but it still won’t double and STILLL seems hungry after a couple of hours of feeding… what have I done wrong?!?! 😭
Hi!! I am a new cottage baker and I am curious how long you let the baked loaves sit out unwrapped before the outer texture changes? Any tips for maintaining the crispy crust longer?
Try as well with Eggplant salad, we call it that way in Romania, but actually are smashed Eggplants and then added fine chopped onion, salt and pepper.. and if you like, add a egg yolk, and then some sunflower oil, stir till gets creamier and the egg looks like turned lightly into mayo.
I love your bread and everything you do! But I don’t understand why are you doing the duck face all the time when you’re on camera? You look so much better and beautiful when you’re natural and not trying to look like you have pumped up your lips. Not trying to be mean but please don’t do the duck face! You are beautiful without big lips!
Your videos are so inspiring! How do you get away with your loaves not sticking to the towels during their shaping? I feel like I use so much flour to try to prevent sticking and it looks like you hardly sprinkle any.
