this should be reported on the news to see if that power was disconected. what a waste of energy and nobody cares unless its a law to F*** us to pay more taxes
Its just a pile of rubble now. The only thing that remains is the huntsman, with no predators and no competition for food he has grown to the size of a puppy on a high protein diet of rats and bin chickens.
The people who won those trophies are probably now deceased, I expect their families may like to have them but nobody cares enough to trace them. My parents and their friends dined there many times in the 70s and my aunty played lawn bowls there in the 80s but I dont recall ever visiting there myself. Love the video but I strongly suggest if you are going to visit places like this get some good quality dust masks to keep in the car. That stuff you dont take risks with.
😢 that’s my old grandpas old chocolate factory since I was a kid and my dad was a kid back in the 2000s and the workers used give me some chocolate thank you for visiting my grandpa’s chocolate factory
I remember a friend of mine had to spend a few nights there while he waited for a room in a homeless shelter across the road from the children's hospital. It was just over 10 years ago. I went there to visit him, ended up getting a bottle of Jack Daniels and just sat in the room, drinking and having deep decisions about how our lives lead up to being in such a place. I left to take the tram home later that evening, hoping my friend would be ok. He ended up ok in the end and has a little unit of his own now. And so do I. Living a lot better than those days. Seeing this video, it was room no2.
Hi I really love watching your great explore's that you do! This video you said you have pulled your finger out! All your fans would say that you haven't pulled your finger out as you do any videos for a long time! I love your your explores but you not sharing any 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
I worked there from 2006 till 2009, I can’t believe how it changed! 3:21 were used to have BBQ’s there once a month. 5:55 that’s were the printing presses were. 16:52 that’s was were they had the supervisors and computer to keep track of the operations 17:34 they used to have telescopic conveyors on those docks so they could extend into the trucks to load the news paper bundles.
I just went there yesterday and found one of your stickers on the physio board, i remember watching this video when you first published it and I was like man I really need to go there one day, so it’s like a dream come true for me as a ford fan and as a fan of yours, sad part is everything’s been taken out, all the machines and everything else, there’s birds and poo in there everywhere, it’s also surprising how there’s so few smashed windows and little to no graff, I’ll be posting my video later tonight on tiktok
They left the OG design sticker up hahaha, no way! Props on getting in man. Super weird to hear that update as If you go through the comments on here, you'll see heaps of people from companies who took over it and had fitouts in there. Makes you wonder what's next for the grand ol' girl. Can you still get on the roof? Definitely reply with a link to the vid if ya feel comfortable.
@@urbexgecko yeah mate you still go on the roof, I decided not to explore much into the other shed and just stayed in the main shed, as there appeared there was no real worth going too far into the other one anymore and yeah I seen that about the other comments
@@urbexgecko my video will be up tonight on Tt around 8pm and I'll probably upload a part 2 tomorrow as a longer version, my Tt is BlizzyBandos, much love gecko ( RU-vid keeps removing my comment and I think it’s the first part of my comment)
So weird to see it like that. I worked there for 6 months in 1987. Staff numbers were around 175 and we had our own little community on the other side of the runway. Didn’t save much money as it truly was a party island. Good memories
Interesting Geoff! I noticed a bunch of already demolished/barely standing buildings in bush on other side of runway, think I know where you're talking about. Sounds like one hell of a life experience, I can only imagine how good that would have been...stunning island!
When the factory was in operation in the 60-80s the train company Victoria Railways now called V/line used to run a ford factory train out of Upfield and Geelong idk how it would have gone on the locations, but the old rails are still are in the concrete out the back of the factory near the train line.
Just binge watched ya explores man, good energy! Not enough coming out of QLD. Hope things behind the scenes work out, and ya can get back to posting again.
Oh man, a find like that is not something you see everyday. Either someone was squatting, or some filthy rich left it there and forgot that they brought it.
5:21 Glad you know the weight of being there and being able to record. Nobody can be there before you and record with a phone. Nobody had that honor but you got that ability. Sure it's empty without the cult. But recording the area is still amazing
0:54 Very old Victorian style dance hall. The speakers playwd the music. Why dance? Idk. You can have better places to dance at. This seems very small and for private dance lessons
