I am about to buy this bike soon, I appreciate that it's not going to replace my car but, after getting on a pedal bike after years of not having one you soon realise that at 55 those hills aren't that easy to get up anymore. To me the bike will be fantastic for a 20 mile ride around my local area. I can take my camera out and get into the countryside without being out of breath when I get there. Another reason to get the bike is I like tinkering and the amount of upgrades for this and many bike's like it are endless. There are bigger amperage batteries, controllers, motors, brakes the list goes on. Also after losing 5 stone and getting down to 10 .5 stone it will be a great next step in the right direction. I did meet a delivery driver the other day who had the same bike and he was averaging 45miles on pedal assist yes it was all on the flat but that's still impressive to me, there are some really good long range ebikes out there now so it is a viable option for commuting over a car.
Hey Robert! Sounds good for me :) 45miles will require him lots of peddaling and the person must be slim! Am doing around 30miles with not much peddaling and am 105kg. So if you planning 20miles trips then youll be fine.
I have the same bike I had to put BMX handles bars the handlebars that come with it a horrible no good for control. I also swapped out the tires for Schwab tires and decent in the tubes I live in the UK so it hasn’t had a lot of use they really don’t like e bikes over here.
Good video. Planning to buy Engine Pro 2 tomorrow. Can't wait for adventures like this. I'm concerned about the weight of the bike and can't buy second battery (can't buy them here). But will figured out some how. Keep up the videos, don't quit.
Bravo amigo! Saludos cordiales
👌 .. excellent result! don´t remember if i mentioned having found a 17,5 Ah battery for decent price at amazon which seems to be quite good. and - it´s kind of funny, how things depend on details; once made 32 km on flat ground, set to 35% max. motor power suppert driving between 20 and 25 km/h permanently pedalling .. having left 90%. another time, power dropped much faster 🤷. ps: you forgot the hinge! 🤣
Thx brother! Yea the range differs, I was loaded during this ride, Id say about 115 kg including body weight, second battery, water and so on...I need to reduce the load somehow 🤣 da hinge, sorry but it seems am getting used to it 🤣
@@22or22 weight reduction would most probably not work except you getting much thinner 😂. i have the engine x and a total of ~ 120 (40 + 80) kg even without 2nd battery (~ 4 kg) but staff like cam, necessary tools a.s.o.. mostly i use a little more tire pressure, nearly no throttle and minimum amount of power into the motor to optimize; especially high currents for longer periods und thus higher cell temperature drains the battery extensively and lower the voltage. concerning the hinge: well - in that case you will at least hear it when it opens during driving .. might save you. 🤣 and - of course, 115 km are still a very good range, hard to beat!
.. seems like budapest/hungary became very bike-friendly; can´t remember any of these bikeways before 2020. btw., do you have the mic 2 from dji? thats absolutely great, connected to action 4 via blutooth! .. and - lube the hinge pls. 🤣
👌👌 .. better watching you 😊 - for me it´s too hot for driving now unfortunately. btw., throttle is great - yes, but forbidden due to another stupid EU regulations😒. you mentioned the nd filter; makes too much blur on margit island at the darker conditions, i prefer to leave it without filter having higher shutter speeds in sunlight and add bit of motion blur in davinci. .. be safe!
Welcome back Bro! Regarding regulations, i think am in the clear since i have a driving license, insurance and a helmet. You are correct aboit the cam, it wasnt best outcome, still learning but I think I found the correct formula in daylight, check my latest video when you get some time. Its only 3 mins 😄
@@22or22 ya, have the same. driving license, insurance and helmet but - depends on how strict f*cking EU regulations are enforced locally. officially it is 25 km/h max, 250 watt max. motor, no throttle for unregistered and no license plate. would make all "free" ebikes good for nothing. 😡
@@22or22 ☺👍 - me too, and - i´m not driving in the city but in the country; mainly sideroads, too many weird car drivers on main roads. 😅 (could mostly become a problem if an accident happens 🤷)
New tire is correct size. I'm using EP2-Pro, you need Tannus armour inserts, plus a product called "Flat Out" from USA. All weight is on back tire so it's 95% likely to get a puncture. I always carry spare tubes, snips for the cable tie on power cable, 1x 18mm spanner for rear and 1x 15mm spanner for front, electric pump, manual pump and spare cable ties for the power cable. Upside down, tire off and back on in 15 mins max. 10 mins if rain is coming.. Wider tires pick up more glass and sharps. Good luck.
have this bike and you need to check for loose bolts, as I already lost two bolts. my rear fender made a lot of noise that I just removed it. And flat out is a must after two rear flats in the first two weeks. beside these problems I enjoy riding my bike.
the city looks so nice , love your vids , have followed you for a while now after deciding to buy the same engwe bike after watching you ride yours , been out today , i love the bike ! , all the best from the uk !
Great video! I'm interested in getting an e-bike for deliveries and your video was really helpful. I had a few questions though: How is the bike for making deliveries? Is it comfortable to ride for long periods of time? Is it easy to maneuver in traffic? Have you had any problems with the electrical system? I'm worried about the battery life and reliability of the motor. Are the fat tires difficult to puncture? I've heard that they're more resistant to flats, but I wanted to get your opinion. How often do you have to replace the brakes? I'm assuming that they wear out more quickly with the added weight of the e-bike and the frequent stops and starts. Thanks for your time!
Thx! My previous videos would answer all of your question ;) but overall the bike is suitable for me and no major issue but not perfect. Cable management, screws and battery range can improve. Otherwise electronics, motor and comfort are good.
@@22or22es cierto amigo.
Nice! Great movie, i love Budapest! Two times i went to Balaton Sound.. fantastic! Sounded like you liked psytrance? What do you think about Mr Orban? Here in Sweden its mostly bad news about him.. That he loves Putin and so on.. how is it for real? Is he a Puin lover? How do you talk about the war were you live in Budapest?
Hey thx. I lived in Malmo for 2 years, nice place and country :) Well dont know much about the love story between the two but a balanced relationship between West and East for a small country like Hungary is the right thing to do in my opinion.( and am absolutely not current regime supporter).
I`m enjoying your videos a lot. I`m thinking to buy same bike and do deliveries as well. I`m wondering did you put any GPS in case someone steal your bike ? If yes, could you reccomend me some. Thanks and good luck. Greetings from Bulgaria ❤
Hey welcome and happy that you enjoy the videos. Unfortunately am not able to help with this as Ive never used one, so no idea. Am using a larger lock chain thats all but its keeping the bike safe so far. Cheers
Szia! Hogyan lehet inaktív állapotba hozni, Állítsam vissza a gyári beállítások opciót? Üdv.: Zoltán
Üdvözletem. Tanácsot szeretnék kérni. Most vettem a gépem. Eco módban, 20-22 km/h között folyamatos rezonancia tapasztalható. Mi lehet ennek az oka? Üdv.: Zoltán
Szia! Én is tapasztalom a rezonanciát. A motor rezgèse átterjed a bicikli különböző rèszeire (pl. a sárvédőkre).
Please let us know what ebike you were riding - your video was served up when I searched for the Z20 folding ebike. So is that the ebike you were riding? Paul G
Hello! I agree that would def help but I dont want to use that in every video I post. Algos will sooner or later know me better and will do better job suggesting my videos to the right audience :)
