Just finished their audiobook on Spotify last week, "The Architects of Self-Destruction", and I was surprised to find out that Stza and the band isn't gay, yet they were singing and writing songs like this. I discovered this band and this music like four years agoz, and I had always just assumed they were speaking as members of the LGBTQ community; never in a million years would I have thought it to be straight White guys singing "Gay Rude Boys Unite!" (Hell, people have thought that I was gay for listening to this. LOL) But that just makes this band that much more awesome! Leftover Crack fucking rules!
Father I'm 39 I bought bloodthirsty when bloodthirsty. Been a metal head my whole life. I have 6 out of 7 sacraments. Everything but marriage, came close once or twice. All I'm saying is I can relate to you 100%.
Here he is. He saves a grin He wants to be the one who doesn't have to sink a level Indiscrete, in his retreat All he need is just a taste of the bitter pride he held in her name Embrace the solitude in ordinary fucked up state of grace Far away from the days he bared The cross he used to wear In some resolve well aware A little pitiful, a pin up boy they dress in grieving wear Well at ease in consent In the drift of undertow He won't justify the pity from them When he knows...fools in love are arrogant Their sermons cloud his breathing air He's in love with an isolation from emotion Here he is awaiting sentence A fool to think that anyone can escape guilt and anguish A subtlety that can't be learned A subtlety that can't be taught He is caught in the lure of second thoughts He might still care As he settles down well aware Bound in secrecy. His voice will Only dignify their fears But sorrow is signified He's well aware of his pride
A year ago I was working as a delivery driver and deliver a package to Bridgette Sly, it didn’t hit me until I was at her door and had to ask if she was Tony’s wife? She was, and opened the door to show me a picture hanging of him and told me how her house is a shrine to him. She was super nice and as I was leaving she came out and gave me new repress of Leche con Leche 🙌 I was soo greatful, loved NUFAN since I was a teen, still listening in my 40’s.
Erik is the best possible replacement for Pat, but this will forever by my favorite line up of Cannibal. My first album of theirs was "Kill", and this was the line up then <3
I love this guy's! My cousin showed me them in high school and I've been a fan since. Wanna see them live so bad. It's because of this group I tolerate country music to a certain extent.
