Welcome to my channel. This channel is all about Munich and surrounding areas, culture and hopefully useful information. Why Abud Munichen? It was a misspelling on my side. The first time Munich was mentioned was in the year 115 with "forum apud munichen" - The market near the moncs. I misspelled it with "aBud munichen", but I own it. It sound a little bit like "About munichen" - which the channel is all about!

Thanks…we had so much fun on the LGBTQ+++ Sunday with a table of friends from Munich! 🏳️🌈🍺🥨 We will never forget the experience! Can’t wait to return! And the roast chicken! Wow! 🐥
I'm sorry for the confusion. There were both used at the same time, but now they removed the MVV app. Use the MVGO app! It looks a little different, but it's basically the same app. Google play store: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mvg.more&hl=de Apple store: apps.apple.com/de/app/mvgo/id991757585 I hope, that was helpful.
Philip it was very nice to meet you in Germany.... Wait... What? NO Chiang Mai! It's great to see you are better pointing the camera than the bow and arrow in the hill tribe mountains! 😅😅😅
Never cook Weißwürste in boiling water, they will burst open and loose all their taste: Just let the water boil, turn down the heat to minimum and put the Weißwürste into the pot for 10 minutes. Normally, Weißwürst shoud be brought to the table in a hot water terrine, so they keep warm before eating. Best to eat with Händlmaier sweet mustard, yummie
@@AbudMunichen Absolutely!! My mom is from Munich, so it is a special place for me. I rented a car because I was unsure about using the public transportation. Once I got there, I totally understood everything. I guess seeing was believing.
Hello Felipa, you can buy paper tickets. But I really recommend to download the app. It makes life easier. Look for the "MVV-App" in your app store. There will be a new function at the end of the year - so maybe when you're here - which is called "Swipe and Ride". This will make using the public transport super simple. As soon as it is online, I'll introduce it here on the chanel. But until then, if you're just using the public transport within the city limits (that's just ring M): -Buy a daily ticket for one day. -If you stay around a week here: Buy an "IsarCard" for a week. You can find both in your app or at ticket machines. I hope this was helpful. If anything is unclear or you have additional questions, just ask! Philipp
If you write me how you arrive, how long you stay, where you stay and what you wanna see, I can tell you EXACTLY what ticket(s) you will need. 😉 You could contact me on my e-mail address, if you don't want to discuss this in public.
@@AbudMunichen, hello, and thank you, this video is very helpful. I notice the app you recommend in the video is different than what you mentioned in this comment (MVV-APP). Is it both apps that you recommend we download? Also, I'm in the US, the Apple App Store did not have "MVG Fahrinfo Munchen." MVGGO is the app that seemed to be similar but did not match exactly the various pages you showed in the video.
@@flysafely Hi there. Yes I know, back then there were two apps and I got used to that one. Howevere, the MVGO app is the one you need and it's more or less the same app. It's this one you need: apps.apple.com/de/app/mvgo/id991757585 As I have mentioned, I will do a new video with the MVGO app, as soon as there is the new "swipe and ride" function online.
Hello, I have seen in my youtube analytics, that many of you are intressted in the topic.Unfortunatly it's my second video and therefore not the best. I want make a new video on the public transport in Munich, as soon as there is the new function "swipe and ride" - this one will revolutionize travelling with public transport and will make things much easier. *But you can help me, if you leave a comment and tell me, why you are here and which questions should be answered.* That would help me a great deal.
