Welcome! I'm a 21 year old wife, mom + Jesus lover :) Motherhood is full of highs and lows but the one thing that remains the same is the abundance of joy & love it brings. I also enjoy beauty/lifestyle content! 🍓🍒🍋🟩📖✨
I haven't read The Maidens yet, but I've read The Maid. It was ok - kind of light reading. If you want a fantastic book of that same sort of fiction read The Secret History by Donna Tartt. An absolutely incredibly written book.
Wow. What a load of 🐴 💩 this piece of feminist, man-bashing propaganda is!!! News flash. Millions of married men and women are happy to be moms and dads. Don’t believe this stuff 🙄
The only time I felt that way when my daughter was colicky for 3 months and I had to get help from the nurses because I lived out in the country and there were no roads. I did use the washer and dry to place the baby on top of the baby seat so she could feel the movement and stop crying so much. Luckily now they have medication that is over the counter for colic babies. That is hard because you do everything else - by cleaning their behinds, feeding them and rocking them to sleep but colicky babies is really tough. Thank God for those wonderful nurses that helped me during that period when I couldn't stop my child from crying but was able with the help of those great nurses which I was able to get in touch to help me out.
My auntie told me about how my cousin her eldest daughter was colicky and she was colicky for about a good solid 3 months and she said it was like some of the most awful times of her experience and raising a child. Then when she had her son my cousin who is closer and my age he wasn't nearly as colicky or as needy as her daughter was. So yeah I can definitely understand where it can be really tough for young moms who don't know what's going on.
"meds" for colicky babies? Where and what are they? The cause of colick is still not known. My son, who is still very small, was very colicky for about two months. All you can do is comfort them, wrap them in warm blankets, maybe a warm bath and a tummy rub but there are no meds for colick. Chamomile tea can help but small babies can't have much. I want these meds for colicky babies I'm about to have my second and if they exist i need to find them. But.. they don't exist.
Hey! Think only of the time you wanted him before he came. Think of when he is going to run into the house with a wild flower say MOM, LOOK JUST FOR YOU! and gives you the best hug ever. THINK of how he must feel because he feels how you feel and can not speak. You can do this. You did the hard part. Advice not asked for from an old woman: put him on a schedule. If he eats at the same time he will potty at the same time if he is put down to sleep he will be up at the same time so play time and bath time at the same time each day. You will know when you can rest by doing this. I got my schedule down so good, I could hold my baby over the toilet and save a diaper. You can get it the way you need it. You got this girl. Grab a very cold cloth for your face the very second you feel you have had enough or are to sleepy. May God ease your struggle
You do not know why and you do not know that even new moms can suffer with this even with a good husband so you just keep your sympathy for yourself, I think you may need it in your latter life.
@@LadydogC I don't care y. Still no sympathy regardless. Motherhood is a duty that all women should just suck it up and keep doing. It's what u were made to do.
@@alyssasoutheast2963 Nurturing duties belong to the mother. A father's duty is to protect, provide and build structure by teaching child lessons when they get older so..not to difficult. Plus dads especially single dad's from stats say they do better jobs anyway.
