Young(er) guy here, THANK YOU! I get so sick of hearing about how the players from previous generations couldn’t play in today’s game. Sure, if you are putting them in a time portal and taking that exact same player, they couldn’t make it. But what people don’t seem to understand, even though it’s not complicated at all, is that the players of old would be significantly better players if they grew up today, and today’s players would be significantly worse if they had grown up back then. The great players would be great players in any era.

Best Rex Chapman memory: I was a student at UK when you played. Near Memorial Coliseum, there was a basketball court for the students behind the former Holmes Hall men’s dorm. Rex was the only UK basketball player I ever saw play out there with the other students! The guys would have a game going, and Rex would walk onto the court to play with them, and then students realized who was out there and ended up with a crowd watching you play. You made those guys college careers with that memory!❤
