What a treat. Thank you for uploading this video of these awesome women. RIP Naomi..., you opened the door for your daughters through your hard work and dedication and they both busted through those doors and took advantage of the opportunities you worked to give them. ❤❤
That’s my mom a breast cancer a while back so I know what it’s like to lose your mom my mom was one of your fans my mom has everyone of your CDs now I have them
Very powerful conversation filled with many great ideas on how to approach and move through grief. I think Wynonna is most powerful when she she stands in her vulnerability. Her honesty and candor give permission for others to be imperfect. I applaud her courage because her path is so unique and one that only she can move through.
Isn't it an enigma how mental illness doesn't discriminate? Here's a woman who's talented, rich, beautiful, etc. and still struggled with it. People think if they had money, fame, fortune, they'd be happy. There are a lot of successful people that aren't happy or healthy.
I’m wondering if when Naomi was performing that night if she realized she just didn’t have it in her to do another tour, but she didn’t want to let Wynonna or the fans down and add on top of that her the hall of fame and depression and other health issues and it was just too much pressure. Wynonna said when they were singing this night she looked over at Naomi and knew something was very wrong and that’s why she stayed right next to her holding her arm and hand.
It's strange how she fought Hepatitis- yet she took her life years later. Seems she remained optimistic yet like in teen years when your turning into an adult ( finding who you are), the Senior years must have aided in her giving up.
Grief is indescribable until faced with it. Wynonna & Ashley are strong Christians and great examples for other women. This was a humbling video that will strengthen others!
Y, your so great just as a person. Baby girl, you can't save anyone but yourself. I know your mom has alway's been proud of you, even during the tough times. Your a blessing to me. I love you & your sister Ashley. My sister killed herself i know your pain.
RIP Naomi Judd, In fact she actually does play a mom in this movie!!! But her character's child is a boy. Naomi Judd has 2 daughters Wynonna and Ashley Judd in real life.
@3:54 - I wish the presenter let Naomi answer the question about what it meant to her about being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Wynonna answered first, then Naomi leaned in to answer after, but the presenter moved on. I guess we will never know. :(
This is BS ......this.is.american christian views of depression..it is NOT A disease....its a.socio physio disorder at pne point in time...totally recoverable nowadays.....she is heavily medicated by her doctors abd smothering the real reasons she is ill.....come to Norway mental illness is.like a broken arm....americans..ugh

Her book was one of the best memoirs I’ve ever read. And Naomi and Wy both wrote their memoirs that revealed a lot more than Ashley’s. I just feel bad that Naomi is missing so much of her daughters’ lives. 😢
Aww - I love how they aren’t fighting too much in this - see food can bring people together - I absolutely love being in the kitchen with my mamma and with my grandma - well I also love being in the kitchen with myself!
I had someone tell me after my parents died that I needed to move on and my response was "grief has no expiration date. Everyone grieves in their own way. I am going to take my time and feel this way for as long as I need to. If that is a problem for you, then maybe you should not be around me."
