#BecomingFilipino is an adventure. It is the journey of a 26 year old Canadian trying to “Become Filipino”. Simply put, I am not Filipino. I don’t have a Filipino passport and it would be almost impossible for me to get one. Truth is I will never be able to say “I am Filipino”. But there are so many simple beautiful things that I have experienced and witnessed that make up Filipino culture… Things that I would be honoured to learn from, and be honoured to share with the world around me.
Keep preparing for the future but never forget the past. Just keep learning and keep moving forward. Becoming married myself, I'm learning to always change for family and not only myself because everything we need is already in us. Always take care, forever be humble, and willingly to do better. Take care brother. P.s. My family is from northern Philippines, but just like butterflies and bird, we flew everywhere to find home. ❤❤

Love this episode for some reason, Kyle (not that there's less love of the others). I guess it's the Ro-ro trips and the great crossing to Luzon over the scenic San Bernardino Strait Luzon. Then again, it's also the new scenery that weren't there before. Oh, how I love the islands and ferry rides.
