If you stay in Scotland longer the icecream shop you passed after going in Loch Ness centre is amazing. Miele’s is gorgeous gelato. They have a few of them in the area. You won’t be disappointed! x
I used to work in the royal infirmary just in front of the necropolis and have on multiple occasions seen people late at night having sex in the necropolis 😂
Just stumbled upon your channel. Nice food review of the market! If I may make a small suggestion, make the eating part a tad longer, we are all living vicariously through your experience 😆
@@chekystar thanks for watching! And thanks for yelling at us. Just so you know- we still think about our time in Slovenia and how much we loved it. More specifically that meal is still top 3 in all the meals we’ve had across the world (33 countries). So we don’t really care if it’s traditional or not. It was delicious. And we love supporting local businesses. Can’t wait to visit Slovenia again🤭
@@EvanandLemon haha not yelling just wanted to point out clearly that the real slo. traditional foods are with a lot of top quality mea.tso vegan can not be called that :) otherwise glad you like it it hard not to hehehe :)
The beauty of the UK is that you can get to anywhere in a fairly short time, depending on where you start from. One beauty spot is always next to another, particularly in Scotland.
@@DB-zp9un ohhhh where to?! The ship is good! People complain about the bathrooms in the staterooms but we loved it honestly. When the ship is at capacity you can realllllly feel it. Sea days are crowded- expect wait times at restaurants and difficulty finding a table at the buffet.
@@EvanandLemon We have the epic and escape.. December and Feb.. One eastern carib, other western / cozumel. Think the epic is the eastern path... We honestly dont really care where it's going as long as it gets us in warm weather for a couple weeks in the winter lol..
You’re reaction to the tea cakes (munch mallows) had me in tears 😂😂😂 I knew you were going to love them, we love our sweet treats 😂 have you tried the deep fried mars bar yet ? 🏴 love you guys
How would you compare the food to America , would you get choices like these ? . These foods are generally very fresh with a good chance veg or fruit will be locally sourced if in season , if not the could be from the EU which is still close enough to be quite fresh though maybe travelled chilled not frozen
You have now learned the secret to withstanding our weather , a wee dram 😁 , puts some colour in your cheeks and a fire in your belly to keep you warm .
I’m glad you got to see the Heelin (Highland) COO! The Speyside malts are hard to beat. I took my niece ( She was the PA to Dusty Johnson in London during Mr T’s time in office). That was my favourite whisky tour. The COOs love brambles (top tip). I hope you get to try: the Balvenie 12yr; The Macallan 15; The Glenlivet 15;Glenfiddich 18 so many to choose from I hope you post your favourites
The road between Cockbridge and Tomintoul always tended to be the first one in Scotland to close because of snow in the winter. You would hear it regularly on the news!
When we stumbled upon the coos it was absolutely magical! They are absolutely gigantic and beautiful! My time in Scotland was also very emotional because it also made me think back on the dreams I had a few years ago and how I've achieved a lot of them when I never thought I would so I definitely understand what you mean! So happy to be able to watch your adventures! Much love from Arizona 💜💜
That was fun! I live in Speyside and drove past Murdo and Buster earlier today while they were getting a brush. Of course, we never get tired of correcting pronunciation, so with that in mind, Glenfiddich is pronounced Glenfidick and Balvenie, like it rhymes with Bal-Kenny.
Both my grandmothers lived in Craigellachie and I grew up in the next town along, Aberlour. I moved away many years ago and seeing this brought back so many great memories and it makes me sad I took it all for granted. I miss it so much. Thanks for the memories.
Look its simple guys.... Move to Scotland and make this a life time adventure... you only get one shot. Scotland is thee best place ... I see ur passion in your videos ... don't go home and say aww I miss Scotland ....Live it... ps we all love your vlogs on the family.... and Say HIGHLAND COO again...enjoy the rest of Our place we call home ❤
I’m generally not moved to make comment but I must say you both make for a very engaging vlog. A sincere and honest representation of the places you visit, most of which I am familiar with, is very refreshing. You also come across as real nice folks and trust you enjoyed yourselves and received equally nice hospitality from my fellow Scot. Thank you for showing my wee country as well as you have done. Haste ye back!
@@lcunningham1568 thanks for watching! And thank you for the nice comment☺️ We are truly in love with Scotland- it feels like the home we never knew we had💛
I don't want to upset you but please don't say that you are Welsh. You are American with Welsh blood. We all have a mixture of many nationalities in our DNA but we can't claim a particular one. There are many Americans who claim to be Irish/American, No, they are not. Having said that, welcome to the UK. That meal looked great.
Welcome to Wales 😀 . Glad you have traced Welsh blood in your ancestry. My mum has been working on her family tree since the 80s, she has also done my dads. We are all born and bred in Wales, mainly from the South and West. Recently had our ancestry DNA done and its been so interesting and have been connecting with people we didn’t know. My dads was probably the simplest one 97% Welsh, 3% Irish lol. Highly recommend getting it done if you haven’t already.
@@wotsitjimbob2271 I believe that you have replied to me rather than Evan and Lemon. In my case, I was trying to say that having a country's blood doesn't make you a citizen of that country.
Paid gwrando ar y cachu tarw yna. In English: don't listen to that bullshit. If you have Welsh heritage we Welsh claim you as our own...in other words you ARE Welsh. By the way I am an Evans, too, Cwm Rhymni born and bred.. Glad you could make it home even if only for a fleeting visit. Croeso adre!
I hope you guys are having a fantastic time. You look to be having a blast. This is one of my favourite walks in Skye. The mist is insane in sky it comes and goes out of nowhere makes it look so magical. It’s a shame this has been the wettest summer ever in Scotland. Seasonal depression hasn’t left us.
