best shooter ever... he was doing what he did in the gold medal game against France in this game... he works his ass off to be this good - he should have been a lottery pick after this season but drafting overvalued height too much... completely changed the game
It's just proof that the talking heads are no nothing, Ball and Zion were talked up to be the next MJ or James. Both turned into the biggest bust in NBA history, I'd gladly take a number 2 through 25 draft pick over a number one any day. MJ is proof to back that up
Man I hope this dude finally learn something from this. This is really ridiculous at this point. He beat the case so now we will see what school offers him for the 3rd time.
The guy wearing hammer pants for sleeves in this game is Austin Daye. This was his last game of college basketball. He was the first 2 and done at Gonzaga (their first one and done was Jalen Suggs), and had been given the word from the Detroit Pistons that they would take him with the 15th pick if he was still available. The Pistons honored that. Good for them, there have to be a lot of promises broken on draft nights. Why would you guarantee a 15 pick to Austin over the guy that dropped 40 in this game? Well, Austin's dad had been a 57th overall pick in the draft and had played in the NBA 5 seasons. Wait, the guy who dropped 40's dad had been... a 15 pick in the draft and retired as the Charlotte Hornets' all-time leader in points (9,839) and three-point field goals made (929) (per Wikipedia so probably bullshit). Anyway, this game was a big part of size and wingspan not being overvalued compared to quick and consistent shooting from beyond the 3 line (which has since been moved back to the FIBA line in NCAA but still not as far as the NBA line).
I'd glad Steph didn't get past Kansas. Team would've drafted him higher and he wouldn't have ended up with The Warriors. Can you imagine: In an alternative universe, Steph beats Blake Griffin and Clippers drafted Steph #1 instead of Blake
We all owe a debt from the most high God for our sin and that is death and death leads to hell(Romans 6:23). So we all deserve hell for our sin. The only way to heaven is to be perfect and nobody on this earth is perfect, but 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ came down from heaven in human form lived to perfection and died for our sins, took the keys of death and rose again to show that he defeated the grave so when he died for us he took the sins of the whole world into himself so that we can be made clean (2 Corinthians 5:21), if we accept him as our savior we can be made clean, whole, new, born again, and redeemed, we must repent from our sin and turn to Jesus.
Looking forward to healthy battles between everyone but this will be of note too. This is kind of a personal rivalry as well opposed to the compettitve side only. For sure will be an interesting match-up💯
