@@AdventuresofSarahandEm It is the only sewing I know 🤣 I cheated when making it and faked the sections so I didn't have ribbons of fabric everywhere. But I'm never using chiffon again. And I'm with you on the deamon the is the rolled hem foot. I found sewing on top of tissue paper helps though.
@@AdventuresofSarahandEm Nooooo! You fool 🤣. Here are some tips you may not know. 1) sew chiffon with a layer of tissue paper underneath to help stabilise it. It's easy to remove with a bit of water. 2) use a fabric spider so you can have more control when pulling / pushing the chiffon through the royal hem foot. 3) create a shrine to the sewing gods and do a sacrifice before you start the project. 😎 Number 3 is the most important. GOOD LUCK 🤞

I love how the dress, wings and shoes came out 🥰 miss twisted has made wings with fishing poles as base (similar to your tent pole bases), she used a backpack to make a base to attach them to. Maybe it’s something for you as well?😄
My daughters danced in The Nutcracker for many years and my oldest was The Butterfly in The Waltz of the Flowers once she graduated to soloist. Your video reminded me of her. You should look into adult ballet classes, you look like you have potential! I love the butterfly costume, it’s beautiful!!! And your dogs are adorable!!! I have cats and I‘ve tried to do crafts around them, it looks like dogs are about as much fun as cats are when it comes to crafts!!!
Aww thanks! I'm a figure skater which has some overlap with ballet so that where that came from. The puppy knows to run straight into his playpen in my sewing room because he's not as well trained as Emmie is to be allowed to roam free without chewing on anything important. I've pulled my Cinderella dress out of his mouth more than once, pure chaos!

Unfortunately I got it second hand from destashify.com and bought all the yardage they had. You could try doing an image search from a screen shot though, I've had some luck doing that in the past

Hmm...Bert, after Dick Van Dyke's character from Mary Poppins because doggo looks like he rolled in soot. Maybe Pongo from 101 Dalmatians when he did roll in soot. Donger from Oliver! OR just Prince Charming from Cinderella! Oh, Gus or Jaq, the mice from Cinderella pfft, I am in a Disney mindset here but doesn't matter, he is a cutie. (dress is pretty amazing too, lmao)
