I have a faint memory of one of my classmates telling me there were going to be clown rappers performing at my local armory in Prescott, AZ in 94 or 95. I was like age 10 and had no idea who ICP was but I heard they were fairly new to the game and were trying to get as much exposure as possible, even in my small ass hometown of 20,000 people. Damn! They have come a LONG WAY. ICP I will forever love you!!
OG Simken Heights outa Lansing, Michigan in the early to mid 90's opened up for Insane Clown Posse a few times or more including Hallowicked in 1995 from what Simken Heights DJ told me. Dem katz were tight and knew each other in the studio back in the day. Then they had a misunderstanding with the 'Bong Thang" beat that DJ Freshkuttz of Simken Heights created but over time they became kool again with each other. So video footage of Simken Heights still has yet to surface. Awesome Media Archives fasho! Much props Todd!
So Greez-E was a fan who was brought in to do Kickjazz' parts. Thats more like the plot to Rockstar with Marky Mark than the real life Ripper Owens replacing Rob Halford🤣

ICP was something else in the EARLY 90s ..... when did the " HATE " start ? I feel like @ this time they might have had some haters but, more than anything it seems people were in AWE of their Gimmick / Theatrics. There is NOTHING LIKE IT TODAY and sure as shit, was nothing like it in 1993 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The hate for ICP, people just blowing them off after one glance at the album covers and assuming it's "junk rap." Oh and some people have an irrational fear of clowns. One last thing, ICP hates child molesters and any cruel bastards who abuse/torture animals. So you can count the scum of the earth who would hate ICP.
