is there any technical/manufacturing difference between nvt-4 and nvt-5 ? I heard that it's only in minimum specs but no official source confirming that
Viewers, please be aware that the picture is way brighter in reality. The NVT-5 is not brighter than the 7 like it seems here. Can you turn up the brightness of your camera next time? I m planned to buy an 1431 or new 31 Argus, but hard choice, NNVT 5 or 7 :( (no info/video about the 6 except the info provide by factory) What your opinion about the difference in outdoor ? If the difference is really huge, I wonder if it wouldn't be wise to add the $1500 to get all 7 instead of the 5.
I would go 1431, it's a lot more serviceable. As for the tube, it really depends on your use case. If you are using it in mostly urban or near-city settings, NVT-5 will suit you fine. If you're out on a farm, far away from any nearby city, then you'll appreciate the NVT-7 on moonless nights.
NVT-6 is just a updated version of the NVT-5 :) Higher FOM and a little better specs. NVT-7 is photonis 4G technology. If you have rhe budget, definitely go for the 7

It's sudden death with NVT-7 and Photonis Echo+, is the Echo+ was filmless, too? It seems I can get higher spec tubes from photonis, but if they've got thick film characteristics it'll be a difficult decision. @@aesthetic8780
