Most fair-minded watchers would recognize this production as a generality. Bans on abortions and legislation that limits a woman's healthcare choices do not apply to every US state but most Europeans would be shocked by it. Many Americans come over as too loud but that's not true of every American.
However, each individual shop/store only operates within one tax jurisdiction therefore there's no reason that the price ticket can't show the price including tax.
@@arnodobler1096 Managerial idleness, "that's the way it's always been done and I'm not going to be the one to upset the apple cart." It only needs one store to start the ball rolling and then customer pressure will force the rest to change.
Found the non-optional VAT add on tax in Finland and Sweden as strange as the local waitresses found my optional habit of tipping. But at least the tips got me a nice smile and a "Tak" for my misguided efforts.
@@ellaluna5514 I was used to getting shaken down at the cash register paying the suprise ~7-9% sales taxes added on to the price tag of items purchased in the USA. It was, in fact, the very clearly indicated, and double digit percent magnitude of the VAT of items purchased in Europe that got my attention!
People need to stop speaking for "Europeans." I lived in "Europe" (Germany) long enough to know that there are lots of different people and persprectives and there is no single point of view, though some people want to pretend there is.
@@rusedgin Well, I get just as annoyed when someone speaks for "Americans." I have German friends who insist they do not fit the stereotype of "typical Germans." And I, and lots and lots of other people do not fit the stereotype of "typical Americans." If it said "some Europeans" it would be OK." (As you can see, I hate stereotypes.) But it would not be so provocative, which, obviuosly, is the intent of such titles.
@aresee8208 Ah, I’m European, you know! Hailing from a charming little country down south, famous for its sunshine, stunning beaches, delightful wines, and wallet-friendly holidays. You can only imagine the stereotypes we endure!

México City is in my view the capital megacity of culture in this continent, only London has more museums, its the city of three cultures, the prehispanic with its pyramids, colonial palaces and the only castle in the américas, and the biggest urban park Chapultepec four times bigger than Central Park in NY. Its street food is amazing and its modern architecture with skyscrapers in paseo de la Reforma. In my view its better than San Francisco.
Although London is a big city and has its place among the titans, there are many categories that we looked at when we did our research. Taking all the criteria into account, London dropped out of our rankings. London is a lovely place that deserves to be visited. Wish you to go there soon 🤗and we hope you've enjoyed our video.
When the city grows so much it loses it's purpose. In the past the city was the place where a group of people helped each other to exist in a community for survival purposes where now one city is of millions of people and even from one part to another it will take you around 30-40 minutes with the public transport. If you own and drive a car you must prepare for intense traffic in peak hours and overall most people move to those big cities not because they want to, but in pursuit of a higher paying job or job at all. That is since the first industrial revolution and is called urbanization. Some people like that environment where everything happens fast and until you realize you are 50 years old, working for some corporation that doesn't know you exist feeding your family and preparing your children for the same faith. I personally prefer the quiet city or village where life is at slower pace and you can enjoy your life.
Got your point. Everyone has their own preference when it comes to city life. While some thrive in the hustle and bustle, others prefer a slower pace in quieter settings. It's all about finding what suits you best and where you feel most fulfilled :))
For a standard tourist visa, passport holders of countries with high GDP (as USA, UK, Canada, Brazil, EU... you can check the full list of countries online) will not find applying very difficult. It becomes more challenging when you are applying outside of your home country, want to stay longer, or want to visit restricted areas like Xinjiang or Tibet.
Being a southern gentleman who's also a millennial ... remembering my pleases and thank yous. As well as my sirs and ma'ams. Though I admittedly haven't flown in a while. And it might help that my job is in the service sector. I'm Andrew. I have ideas for future videos. Traveling with prescription meds. Especially those used to treat mental illnesses like bipolar. My meds are sadly illegal in some parts of the world (generics for geodon and tegretol). I'm also on the generic for zocor for high cholesterol. I'm not as concerned about this.
Great video! Can you make video about Bhutan? I know it is hard and expensive to get there. Maybe you can make something like "Things you should know when travelling to Bhutan" or something like that.
