JOIN US on the hunt for beautiful and elusive MINERALS & GEMSTONES, in Washington state and surrounding areas! 💎✨
We LOVE looking for agates, crystals, geodes, garnets, and other treasures in nature! Find us crawling along creek beds, scouring seasides and lake shores, climbing up cliffs, and walking through valleys just to collect a few pretty rocks. To some it may seem crazy, but to us this is 'rockhounding'-and it's what we do!
Ride along with Cowboy (Wade) & Mac (dog), and the rest of the crew on our crazy fun adventures in the wild state of Washington. ⛏💎🤠
Well it's good to know that muriatic acid doesn't dissolve the crystals in I didn't realize that they would brighten up that much. We find what we call moonstones which are basically polished agates but sometimes they'll have minerals attached at the same so I always wondered a good way to clean them up. Also if I remember right muriatic acid doesn't dissolve gold so anything in the mineral remnants can be recovered
Hey brother I love your videos! I'm headed to crystal park in a couple weeks for the first time! I'm so excited I can hardly wait... It's my first ever crystal dig and I've been waiting my whole adult life to do this! I'm a huge rock hound here in SD and very successful but crystal digging is a bit different than what I do lol. I'm not asking for your exact hole or nothing but could you PLEASE give a noob a few pointers so I have a better shot at finding a nice large one lol!? 😂 I'll be there for 3 days and I want to know where the best spots are! I don't get to travel often so I have just one shot lol! And good advice would be awesome brother! You find some really nice stuff man! I'll keep watching your videos to learn more! Thanks a lot Quartz Cowboy!!!!
That was fun thanks! do you have a video of cleaning up the booty? please check out this ancient axe wedge I found in the nooksack and please leave a comment and share it around! I also found a fossil with bone and tissue possible with fossilized DNA? in conglomerate rock ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wXYxrda-gdw.html
And that’s why they call it Swift creek! That first crossing was FIRM! Nice day and nice finds. Was the lake level back to normal or still low? The sockeyes will be showing up in a month or so I think they will raise it soon if they haven’t yet. As always, thanks for taking us along! 💚
@QuartzCowboy I'll be there June 19/20. Thinking about digging to the right of the parking lot as advised by a friend, I'll probably poke around a bit. Staying in Polaris. Was thinking about hitting up the creek around there and the mountain behind it maybe as well. Hoping to find some chunkers
One time when I was in preschool I liked cracking open rocks and one time I found a geode and I was so happy I showed it to everyone and then another time there was a sand pit at my school and I found a geode in that to❤😂
