Ever since he heard his grandfather telling stories of his time in a B-24 during World War II, Flight Outfitters Founder Mark Glassmeyer has been fascinated by aviation. Like many pilots, he took a few lessons as a kid, but had to give up training when a family and career came along. After a 25-year break, Mark earned his Private Pilot certificate and now enjoys flying a Cessna 172 and a Citabria for business and pleasure.
During his flight training, Mark couldn’t find a flight bag that met his needs. From that single product he and his team have since built one of the most popular brands in aviation. Each of the bags, kneeboards, and accessories in the Flight Outfitters line is driven by Mark’s enthusiasm for flying and is made for anyone with a taste for adventure.
Are you gonna partner with VIPpilot? I currently have a gift card for their website and would love to purchase this version of your flight bag for the airlines!
Great flashlight and great review. I'm almost certain this flashlight will not charge a tablet per the manufacturers instructions. Regardless, super flashlight for sure.
@@Summershot16 No straps included, However thre are fabric hooks on both sides, I used the strap from my Laptop Bag and it worked perfectly. One thing I don't like is there is absolutely Zero padding on the bottom for all pockets
Congratulations!! I was kind of doing the same thing I was doing flying lessons before driving lessons 😅. This video kinda reminded me that everyone doesn’t start their path the same. Great job on your solo! ❤✈️
Yes it does cost a significant amount of money to begin and become a pilot, whether it’s a private license or becoming a commercial airline pilot! But as a career as a commercial pilot, you will be able to pay off all loans with ease!
@@Ethan-xq7mx *pay off all loans* Oh no, not debt 🤕 I would like to become a pilot, but the idea of having to wait a long time to pay off debt is something that I don't know if I would be willing to risk. There are various incidents that could come out of nowhere that would reduce the flow of payments into paying off the debt.
@@HTV-2_Hypersonic_Glide_Vehicle What incidents are you reffering to? You would have to get seriously ill / disabled at the end of you trainings to have a bunch of debt. Because of the pilot shortage if you go to an ATP school they have fast tracks to the airliners and regionals.
no this is the classic paper chart kneeboard. For Digital look to slimline or deluxe kneeboard...we are launching a new kneeboard next week also !!!! Thanks for your interest
Congratulations! I also soloed when I was 16, before learning to drive (but not on my birthday). 45 years ago that was much more common thing then it is today. Glad to see new students getting excited about flying!
That's awesome. I also took lessons at 15 and soloed before I had my dricver's license. So funny that my mom had to drive me to the airport so I could fly airplanes.
