I live across the river in Weirton. Had an old guy tell me this is the best place to live. Knowing he was in the Navy during WW II and the Korean conflict and had literally been all around the world, I had to ask him what made this place so special. He said we have great people, the best hospitals and everything else we need. He is absolutely correct, the people are based, our hospitals are the best in the world and we really do have everything we need. Love it!
Sorry, even a street walker looks good from the right distance. Once you get to Buffalo, the reality and disappointment are quite sobering. The entire culture of the region hinges on restaurants, where you stuff your face and stare at you phone, bars, where you stuff you face and stare at your phone, Festivals, where you stuff your face and stare at your phone, Go to a Bills or Sabers game, where you stuff your face and stare at your phone..... Now, if this were the 70s & 80s Buffalo, the city would still be a total shit hole but it would have been an extremely fun shit hole.
I've been to many of the cities you've beautifully captured and displayed. It's wonderful to revisit them from your view. Again, thank you for sharing. Music selection wonderful!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to check out our work! I’m currently working on more videos so please be sure to stay tuned and subscribe! Have a great evening!
Shame that NY state and City hasn't done more to grow and modernize the other big cities in the state. Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and even Albany should all be major cities with a million people or close to it, much like how Texas and California have several big cities other than LA and Houston.
@6:20 They used to have an ice rink there and we would play broomball on Saturdays. Was very sad to see it removed but things are looking really nice down there now.
I enjoyed the aerial view of beautiful Charleston! Although a Texan, I currently live in Virginia. I do make periodic road trips back to Texas. I sometimes route my trip through WV, usually traveling on I-64. That interstate goes through Charleston. The state capitol is quite impressive with its golden dome. I always enjoy my drive through Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. Actually, I wouldn't mind living in WV.
