I played with Scott a year before he moved to LA and went to GIT. We were room mates as well but it wasn't like we were really close. Back then , he was an amazing guitar player and composer. I listened to him practice some times. Hey could play Joe Pass, Jeff Beck, Alan Hollsworth. You name it. He developed his own thing. He is one of the greatest Guitar player, composers that has ever lived. I admire him big time.
How is the Silhouette neck profile? Is it a comfortable modern C? Or something else? How about the string spacing at the nut; is it comfortable or too tight and crowded as the nut width is 1 5/8 inch I believe? Thank you for your time in advance.
Hi there ! I own the same model ( not the same blue actually) . Yea the nut width is 1 5/8 ( 41 mm) , less than most of the strats. And the profile is a C shape but a very thin and comfortable. I you have big hands it might be a little narrow . But I find it really easy to play.
I know I’m 9 years late to the party but thank you for doing this pedal justice in this video. Almost every video with the SLOstortion is nothing but chugging power chords or just fuzzy muffled noise that sounds god awful.
Hey man question. I know you have a deal with them so options are unlimited. I just don’t see where there’s multiple color options on the site. Definitely looking into purchasing. Great playing cheers mate
This young man is a pretty good guitar player! from one guitar player to another. I been playing the guitar since I been 12 years old.Im 52 years old right now so I know what I'm talking about thank you 🎸
Just got one of those. Simply the easiest neck to play and the best sounding guitar ever. Quick question, do you think it is worth to have it refretted?
@@MichaelBaugh thank you for the feedback. I can't believe I played guitar for so long while being unaware of such good instruments. I am now saving up to have the silhouette special refretted. Can't wait to see the difference. I am thinking of selling my jazzmaster as I feels like a mere piece of wood in comparison
