Static, typical, unimaginative. Should be outer space on earth. Diagonal lines, seating mixed into garden, sculptures, asymetrical arrangements and textural heights. The plants and desert ARE other worldly. Why stick to boring traditionalism when you have such a landscape? Why pander to mindless Los Angeles culture and boring English Gardens? Looks like a big box garden department. Drop some acid and rethink the look.
Very beautiful garden with so many wonderful Agaves! I wondered if Agave montana can take a lot of sun? I have one and was not sure. It has been in shade but would like to move it to a sunny spot (Phoenix sun!). So happy for you to have had all the rain! So needed!
Nancy, in Phoenix I'd protect it from afternoon sun. Here in Northern California, I've seen it thrive in full sun, but our sun isn't quite as intense as yours.
