Have a 2019 2 door JL and the seats are tge most uncomfortable and too high for my wife. Does this bracket change anything like angle or height cauae if it does might try that. Or is this bracket same geometry as stock JL brackets and just made so you dont need to remove stick one to put on aftermarket seats?
Hi @Lefishn, the Corbeau JL brackets completely replace the factory bracket and allow you to mount any Corbeau seat. Depending on the seat you go with you may have some height difference, but otherwise, it will be similar to the stock geometry. The stock JL brackets have height adjustment and the Corbeau brackets are fixed so that is something to keep in mind.
@@Lefishn I'm not 100% sure all trims come with it but have confirmed it's on Rubicons and Saharas. Have a look to see if you have the lever on the side of the base. Image: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/txcultf06zcliyzewbomx/jl-lever.png?rlkey=4dju4q8xhtf9ne2ycwtfdxnsm&dl=0
@CorbeauSeats lmao...I thought you meant underneath could lower the seat on different brackets. Even with the lever seat has about 5" wasted space under it so no idea why the lowest setti g is so high and that makes the lever useless cauae would put someone's head through the roof...lol. Hell my wife is 5'4" and seat being so high at front makes it so she barely reaches pedals and I'm 6' and can barely see the traffic lights cause I'm so high.
Hi @wdmeinert! For the C5 specifically, the seat with the lowest base height is the Evolution X at 2.5 inches. It fits and looks great in the Corvette.
Hi @@BTC_Cassidy , the FX1 Pro and Forza will sit a little higher than the stock seats while the Evo X and A4 with a shaved based will sit the lowest and closest to the stock height. Hope that helps!
@Shouldaboy it has been done, but requires significant modification and running harnesses. Give us a call if you'd like to explore that option in more depth. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST. Thanks!
Hi @Nitegrip90! There are a few things you can do to make RRX fitment possible. Give us a call and we can talk through some options. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST.
They are even better looking in person! We've got a set or two left. Give us a call when you're ready to buy and if we don't have them available we can get something custom going for you. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST.
Thanks for the question! Factory seats are not designed to bolt directly to the Corbeau bolt pattern. Give us a call with the bolt pattern on your factory seat and we can help you determine if adapting the seat to a Corbeau bracket is possible. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST.
Then reupholster your stock Corvette seats. Corbeaus are for people tired of falling out the window on a slight corner. The A4s are still plenty comfortable if you aren’t overweight.
The favorite part of my Corbeau Sport seats are the heaters. I was honestly sceptical on how well they would work seeing as they only use a 5 Amp fuse and do not need to be wired to a relay but on high they get very warm. I am looking into installing a set of these heaters in some factory leather Jeep ZJ seats now.
@@miljanvaragic2503 For the moment we're keeping the black/white and all black versions stocked and will for sure have some other color options in the future. No timeline on those as of yet.
@@rangiscabrera5365 this particular seat was a limited edition that has since sold out. Give us a call if you're interested in something similar and we can discuss the options. Thanks! 801-255-3737 (M-F 9am-5pm MT).
question about installation on a JL. am I supposed to swap over the connector for the seat belt so the car isn't peeping? also, how does that work if I purchase the three point harness?
Hi @brettlewy! The Baja Bench is mounted in a very similar position so it will have close to the same amount of space at the base. There will be less at the top since the Baja Bench has an angled back, where the stock fold and tumble seat goes straight up. We also have our Safari fold-and-tumble seat that is a direct replacement for the factory rear seat (corbeau.com/safari/). Feel free to call us and we can help pick out a seat that will work well for you, 801-255-3737 9am-5pm MST Mon-Fri.
Hi Dylan, we do not have exact fitment specs on that year range of Bronco. The best way to ensure you choose the best width is to measure the distance between the wheel wells to see how much space you have and then you can decide which width works best for your application. We offer a 36 inch, 40 inch, and 42 inch Baja Bench. Give us a call if you'd like to go over the options and how to mount. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm.
Hi @dot_dill1808, there are a lot of factors that play into if this is possible. Please give us a call and we will help determine if your vehicle will be able to utilize the factory switches. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST.
Hi Ed! You will need a replacement bracket to mount Corbeau seats into the F100. We offer a bracket for the standard cab F100 that came with a bench from the factory. It is a single bracket that will allow you to mount two Corbeau seats. Have a look here corbeau.com/ford-f100-f350-oem-bench-73-82-seat-bracket/
My driver side seat bracket doesn't have a mounting point for my OEM seatbelt and the one on the passenger side isn't in the correct position. Don't all Corbeau rails have OEM seatbelt brackets?
Provisions are typically made so that stock seat belts will mount and function the same as factory. Give us a call sometime this week Tue-Fri 9am-5pm MST and we'll be sure to get everything worked out for your specific installation. Thank! 801-255-3737
Hi Carlos! The best way for us to help figure out mounting and fitment will be for you to give us a call. We'll be sure to help you figure out the best fit! 801-255-3737 M-F 9-5pm MST.
Hi Jason, gives us a call and we can help resolve the fitment issue. There are a few factors that can cause alignment issues, but we'll be sure you get squared away. 801-255-3737 9am-5pm MST. Thanks!
Hi Andres, you'll need a Baja Adapter (part# A22002F) and then the vehicle-specific bracket (Part# D266 x 2, same for d/s and p/s). The Baja Adapter converts the vertical tabs on the Baja Low Back to a flat mounting surface so you can mount it to sliders. If you prefer to go with a seat that does not require the Baja Adapter, the nearest option would be the Baja JP. If it would help, be sure to reach out and we can walk through the best options for you. 801-255-3737 or contact@corbeau.com.
Hi G! I believe the E92 bracket will fit the E90 as well. To confirm you can measure the mounting holes in your floor pan (front to back, side to side) and we can compare to the E92 measurements to ensure they are the same. Once you have those dimensions give us a call or send us an email 801-255-3737 or contact@corbeau.com.
Yes, these will fit that application. Installation is easiest if you purchase the vehicle-specific brackets that bolt directly to the factory mounting locations (corbeau.com/volkswagen-jetta-06-14-seat-brackets/).
I can't wait for the survey I am going to make their engineers sad. I wonder if they even look at stock jeeps? because from what I see ZERO attention to detail. I mean for just a test go find a jeep just a random jeep tell them we want to put seats in for free .and just set back and watch all the omg moments happen
Hi @tileman17, we would appreciate getting feedback from you on your specific vehicle and the struggles you had. We are always seeking to make improvements. Call 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST. Thanks!
The RRX should work great in the BRZ. If you'd like to compare the stock seats to the dimensions of the RRX to get an idea of how it compares, you can find the measurements on the product page here: corbeau.com/sportline-rrx/. To make mounting quick and easy, we recommend using our vehicle specific mounting brackets (BRZ: corbeau.com/subaru-brz-seat-brackets/).
@Dalton Singleton Sorry, it appears RU-vid removed the second half of that reply because there was a link to IG. Summit Life would have more details on fitment so we'd recommend to DM them directly. Thanks!
We sure do! On each of our product pages, you'll find a dimensions guide. You can compare each dimension of the seat you're interested in to your stock seat to confirm you've got enough space. To mount the seats, you can purchase direct bolt-in brackets that make installation super easy.
The chassis on the CC is typically the same as the Jetta or Golf for the same year(s). Just to be sure, it would be helpful to get some measurements of the mounting holes in your floor pan (front to back and side to side). Reach out with those dimensions when you can and we'd be happy to confirm fitment. 801-255-3737 or contact@corbeau.com.
