I have played Runescape since OSRS... Despite this I am a bang average Runescaper! That being said. I LOVE bossing, terribly. Come and join me as I get better (and arguably worse,) at the best MMORPG game in the world!
In all honesty if I was to start from scratch with melee I probably wouldn't use it :-) primarily because it wouldn't fit into the rest of the setup (bleed effect, poison effects etc.) don't get me wrong it's not a bad weapon at all, I probably just wouldn't buy one. You could use it for noxious components after levelling I suppose?
Hello friends! I need some help. I have followed the guide to a T and have recently surpassed 60 runecrafting. My setup is passing bracelet, ring of imbuing, pouch protector relic, underworld grimoire 2, small + med + large pouches, abyssal lurker BoB. When I was doing flesh runes, I was getting around 80-85 per inventory. Upon hitting 60 and switching to Miasma runes, I fell to 60-65 runes per inventory on average. PROBLEM: Ring of Imbuing and UG2 seem to not be giving me bonus runes. I went from 1000 total xp per run (flesh) to about 1100xp per run (miasma). I can't find anything online to justify this. Was there some sort of update or bug?
Have you tried removing the bracelet and grim and doing some runs with flesh to see if thats the difference? :-) I just want to be sure you were definitely doing Flesh Runes as there's no multiplier until level 82 but there are multipliers for other runes.
@@Ruggedhobo Hey there, I appreciate the troubleshooting! Yes, I was using the red flesh altar, then switched to the green miasma. Incidentally, my girlfriend and I are doing a full matching playthrough together and the exact same happened to her when she hit 60 and switched over. It's the exact same bank preset, and even still we separately tried removing and adding back gear, switching back and forth from flesh to miasma, and whatnot. It's very bizarre. The difference between 63->83 runes on average is somewhat consistent with the stacking 5% and 10% bonuses from the grimoire and ring... I imagine a hard multiplier from 55 impure essence (18 S/M/L pouches, 12 Lurker, 25 Bag) would yield 110 base runes without the ring nor grimoire if we were using different altars. Yet 55 -> 80+ runes for Flesh is high for the bonuses. Something else must be happening that I cannot pinpoint.
@@zackzaktm2758 the only thing I can advise is to try and rule out the variables one by one (try doing with no equipment first) miasmavsflesh then work your way up 😕
@@Ruggedhobo Alright! I am reporting back with an update. Thank you again for engaging with me. I've done naked runs (no pouches, no equipment, no summoning- just 28 impure essense. I get 28 miasma runes and about 35-36 flesh runes per inventory. I'm totally confused... It seems I have some hidden buff to Flesh Rune production and I'm wondering if I unlocked some passive increase from something.
@@zackzaktm2758 that's very interesting, I just did a quick bare ones run myself and got 28 miasma and 56 flesh (this is to be expected as I have the level for 2x flesh runes multiplier) so nothing out of the ordinary...

@@Ruggedhoboyour face is good/ great, voice is awsome. The pop up items is good. I think the “problem” is the static character in the back ground. Even if it’s just your character running the abyssal route (or show a new necro route) a new player could connect and undestined better. (Lvl 70 RC so I understand the pain of hours of running. But I’ve never done abyssal so I would even learn something from you) well done!

Congrats on the remission! It's five months late, but I hope still true. I myself have to live for more than eight years now with one of the few remaining cancers officially regarded as incurable, so I can understand quite well the relieve. I discovered RS just half a year ago, some 25 years late. I'm on my way to my third master cape right now (will happen this weekend) and got my skill count to well over 2400 in that time, but I still feel that I know only the absolute basics of that game. I still have so much to learn, and your videos are quite helpful to discover some of the more hidden parts of that game. So I subscribed and hope to learn even more.

So I haven't forked out for it myself. That being said - at the risk of sounding rude (please don't hate me I'm trying to be helpful I promise!!) if you're struggling with adrenaline it may be the case that you need to work on adrenaline and ability management? Or a more solid rotation?

I'm trying to do a phase skip by doing 100k damage in 3.4 seconds or like 3 or 4 abilities... normally I would pre- beserk, chaos roar/drink adrenaline potion, then barge to the spider, then overpower, limitless into a destroy. Unfortunately its not killing it in time and it heals the best I can do is 90k of damage in my overpower and destroy.
Ah for Araxxor? That'll be a tough skip for sure. It maybe worthwhile trying to trade out the barge/destroy for pb of acceleration and maybe start using a weapon spec instead like dclaws? I managed a skip but on necro. So maybe use pre berserk still, into overpower use dclaws however many times you can and for any remaining adrenaline limitless into hurricane. Also are you using full vestments gear?
Just in relation to recovering the caroming perk upon disassembling the level 9 noxious longbow: as long as the item is at least level 8, all installed gizmos are recovered, so you don't need to worry about losing the perk.

Im sad they havent said anything about bringing miining / smithing / woodcutting / fletching to 120, either they for some reason decided to hide that fact? or more likely, for now that's just not the case. But still, very excited to see what they're cooking with those!
I think in trios mobs can be super fun to smash through but I don't do trios really, only to teach sometimes. So it makes the kill rate slightly lower :-) but yes very exciting!!!!!!
Really enjoying the videos you’re putting out, keep up the good work. Do you have plans on doing a guide for vorkath? As I want to get the 100 kills for the nexus but can’t seem to get him down
easy mode vorkath: kill both giants and deactivate the non-mandatory fonts (directly north of fort, then at chaos altar) before killing the giant at the last font which lets you enter the vorkath arena if soloing, keep necro prayer up (because zemo hits harder than vorkath) and rely on super antifire against Vorkath's attacks when Vorkath flies away, use the ballista button to prevent him from hitting you 8-10k when he comes back (he'll do a crash landing instead and deal no damage)
So I would say yes T95 is better! But that's because I value DPS and can generally eat/vamp through everything. If you need more defence by all means use the tank armour. That being said I would definitely say a DPS armour will make things like DPS checks a cakewalk
people still play rs3? I wanted to give it a go but it was sooooooooooooooo weird to get into and the settings where horrible . Gave it 30 mins into the game and quitted lol back to OSRS i go
It'll be a big adjustment for RS3 but it honestly is a fantastic game in its own right. If you spent just a few hours getting to grips with it you'll love it.
Pretty unique guide because I haven't thought about bosses as resources for a long time to be honest. Usually just aim for the big ticket items to buy the stuff I need for dxp. However I generally have switched to farm runs/clue runs now mostly to do it.
