We set up Ghost Quest - with the phrase "our mission in life is to look for ghosts" - in October 1996. You can find us on Facebook - The Official Ghost Quest.
This story of 1893 in Luxor, Egipt remember me that Hammer movie: The hand of the mommy. Maybe the movie is based in this story. I dont know what good those it make to go complete of your body, to the ground ( tumb) if we all reencarnate in a new body. Strange costums of the egipcian ancestors.
stayed here last weekend, spent the night in room 6, yes, it's haunted.. i had three experiences...including a light under the door and , a little girl and a male..Hxx
The announcer went like this with a Shadow ident, 'Now on BBC2, a new series, things that go bump on a Wednesday afternoon. Myths and Legends contain folk tales, old and strange.' The announcer says at the end of the Costwolds program. 'More Myths and Legends, here on BBC2, returns next Wednesday at the same time.'
I can't believe that is me!!! I look so young! We still have that tape, but no tape recorder and we still wonder about it. It is an eerie, haunted place and I will return one night as my gifts as a spiritual medium are 100% now. I was just learning what I could do back then
What a voice, one of the best ghost story tellers! Pity there were not hundreds more tales. Always the problem with Ouija boards...you don't know who or what may come through , light or dark...
What a load of rubbish this is an badly repro0duced part of a video in B/W which is available in color, The Stately Ghosts of England ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dT4X8MW75nM.html
Thank you so much for uploading and sharing these wonderful programmes. I have been searching for them for 12 years when I found an old tape cassette in the loft while I was moving which prompted me to do a Google search which led me to you channel.
In the late 1980s I use to listen to him on local BBC radio in Liverpool doing a late night Sunday show. He always finished his shows with one of his stories. Brilliant. Fond memories
I visited Wycoller one summer afternoon many years ago & I can honestly say I couldn't wait to leave. Had the most awful feeling of dread every second I was there. Would like to go again just to see if I feel the same.
@@oldlady2704 The vibes came from the whole place. As we walked around I couldn't shake the feeling of dread. I've never before experienced such strong feelings for a location.
I remember it well..”Time once again, to explore the strange and intriguing world of the unexplained. And tonight, I’m going to tell about a rather odd manifestation that happened only a few weeks ago. As usual, let me set the scene’..!

I idolised this man in the eighties, on Picadilly radio with his old Friend DJ Phil Wood. He then went on to other radio stations telling his stories and experiences.

I used to tape them when they were on the radio , I loved listening to Tony and Phil, especially in the mid eighties. They were on late at night and had a phone in. I wished I had everything they did together on tape or cd.

Hello Jason, so was I when he told them, I taped a lot of them on cassette, and what I loved apart from the stories, was the banter between Tony and Phil. Great days. Do you recall Paul Carrington? he was on Piccadilly, but then moved to Signal Radio. He also had a ghost hunter guest called Dave Waide, who nicknamed THE WITCHFINDER GENERAL. I think his stories are on youtube as well.
Yeah he used to be on Piccadilly in the early eighties, and I can always remember Halloween 1984, Timmy Mallet was on having a Halloween party, then I think Phil wood after with Tony Shaffer, and then about 1 am Paul Carrington as on with The Witchfinder General. Later when Piccadilly became KEY103 Tony and Paul had a topical show, which didn't last too long. It was then I think, that Paul Carington moved to Signal in the early nineties, and The Witchfinder (dave Wade) was a nightly guest, telling ghost stories.
