omg amazing that you got to work with her! I Love the way everything was filmed! could you break down some info on the color grading and at around what time you filmed it? (bc it's kinda grainy, but one still sees the bottles up in the air, so it must have been bright enough)
Aw thank you. Yeah, good eye. I shot 4 rolls of 50D and got them scanned in PRORESS 422HQ log. Which gave me more room to at least get a more visible image in the darker sunset shots. It pushed the grain/artifacts a lot, but exactly right since the bottle were in the air and backlit from the blue hour after glow 50D can still pick up an image. As long as you get your 50D scanned with LOG PRORESS 422Hq there is ever so slightly wiggle room to be useable but definitely a gamble!!
claud one day if you ever think of watching this again. i hope it makes you only remember me in this moment. for this is where my heart will always live.
So many of those apps are getting so good I’ve definitely used those for projects for sure. But not for this one. Would love to see a comparison side by side of a film emulation and super 16
Ah that is so nice to hear. Happy that this film takes you to that feeling. Ive felt that with other films and thats a reason why I make things like this. So that means alot. Thank you
I have to track down that mix > i found a cassette tape while I was there and recorded it playing on a tape player. so I am not totally sure which track or which artist. If I find the tape ill send info !
Cool! I'd be nervous about crashing and smashing the camera while riding that longboard, but hopefully you weren't just like... staring through the viewfinder like I'm imagining hahaha
