What is the clicking noise I hear when you stop after each jump? I have an ERide Pro SS with almost 500 miles on it. I have never heard the clicking like I do on yours. I can sometimes hear it when you are going too. Just curious.
You just wash it at the local car wash? Do you do anything different than you would on a normal bike, or is it just some soap and then water? I just have read maybe people saying not to spray it off like that. Some will say wash it then dry it good with a leaf blower or something. Looks like you washed it and rode away.
@@christophermorris6136 I spray it like normal but I do unplug and turn the breaker off but I don’t blow dry the plugs there is a blower thing and I mean I have used it just so I don’t get water spots but not really for the electrical part but everything has been fine
I took off the little inflator bulb and hose and just rock the wedge part in there, not inflated. Works pretty solid for me now.. haven't hit any jumps yet, but Works great on trail riding. Also I wedged mine in front, couldn't fit mine in the back??
uhh not to long you just have to learn your balance point and just dont be scared i wheelied over once already and you just have to keep trying its scary but you just have to if you wanna get better!
@@Derexwinn pretty sure I watch your video before my crash.. I had to watch your couple time. What dumb fall . Same here, it doesn't take much to get hurt.
@@danbob1650 ya that’s what I’ve told everyone it was a dumb fall but those are the ones that get you I’ve honestly been really lucky riding for awhile and when I was younger and idk how I didn’t get hurt but it’s always the dumb one you get hurt on😂
@@Derexwinn yeah I know no cool stories like " I flew off a jump 19ft backflip landed and almost hit a moose in trail and flew off 200 ft landed with injury. And climb out with my bike on my back. Rode 39 miles back to my truck. Drove hospital 5 hrs away back home. "" Nope washed out dumb rocks. But get out ride asap.
Been there 2 times 1 for each shoulder my recovery was 1 month for the right when that happend and then I did my left and that one healed in 2 weeks. The less you move that arm the faster it heals. Yoga help recovery speed too. You injured some muscles pretty bad just let them rest and you'll be doing you other shoulder in no time :) jp Welcome to the club Brotha! Now you'll be stronger/smarter
Ya it’s been 2 weeks so far and I can move it but in some directions it still hurts but hopefully soon I can go ride and make more videos and I just got a lot of new parts for the bike!
@Derexwinn sweet bro, you can check my crashes too if you want. My first would be the one title, the time I fucked up or some like that and my other one is the Hollister trip1 at the 40 or 44 min mark that hit took my left shoulder out for 2 weeks. My crb450x was the one that took out my right shoulder, but I didn't get that on video. Rest up man you'll be riding soon 👍
Broke bone in my foot being stupid on a dirt bike without gear. Now I'm sitting here with a cast and being told by the doctor I can't even put weight on it for another 6-8 weeks. Worst thing for me is I can't ride or do any of the other things that I use to enjoy. Do yourself a favor and get some protection so you don't wind up like me or worse.
@@jeff-pl1sv ya my shoulder is fucked up im going to see a doctor again tomorrow I don’t think I broke my collarbone but definitely messed something up
You, my friend, need more gear to protect yourself. Most young people do not respect speed. You might want to invest in elbow, shoulder and back protection at those speeds and in dirt. You also, may want some shin and knee protection. All it takes is one accident to ruin a future. IMO, you are going too damn fast in mixed terrain. It's one thing on an MTB but, you are going almost twice as fast and you are not respecting your throttle or the terrain. Been riding motorcycles for years and any protection is better than no protection. I know too many dudes, that have fucked themselves up or died for not respecting their speed and taking attention off their line. Everytime you look back is a moment you aren't looking at what's coming up. Accidents can even happen at low speed and in loose stuff like that gravel you fell in. Be safer and respect your surroundings.
Hey dude I see what looks to be a shinko 241 3.50x19 in the rear; how did you get it to fit? On my pro ss If my wheel is centered, it touches the chain, so currently it is mounted slightly to the left to not hit the chain.
I'm trying a 16 inch rear and a 19 inch front rim size with a fatter rear tire. They say that balance set up is really good for the bike and the rear doesn't over power the bike making it harder to stop. If using the standard 70/30 breaking front to rear is OK for motorcycle or on road, but on dirt use less front break more back because as soon as you break traction on the front by hard breaking your going to dump it on loose stuff. But great ride looks fun.
Gonna say this to try and spare yo ahh a couple crashes: brooo, chill with those brakes ! It's really not healthy for your brake pads and tires to get locked up every time you want to slow down. Even less for you ! (we basically have proof here 🤷♂ both crashes looked and sounded like they were brake related) ((judging by experience 🤣)) Just tryna be constructive here. That having been said you clearly have to work on your brake technique ! i'm sure you'll get it real quick.
@@PathtoYahawah ya there amazing off road they make good just dirt tires or I’m running the Shinko 241 I made a video on them if you wanna watch that but I think they do great and there good for on road aswell
You gotta practice modulating your front brake. You are locking the wheel up and sliding out. Gotta learn to hit it just hard enough, and it's even more important on dirt/gravel. You shouldn't be relying on your rear brake to do that much work. The front can do so much more to slow you down if used properly, though it's better to slide the rear than the front.
@Derexwinn No doubt, in that instance I totally understand. I just noticed it more on the first crash that you only relied on your front brake when things got dicey, and if you ride like that you really have to know your front brake pressures. No hate at all, just a good idea to get on different surfaces and test out how much brake pressure will lock up the tire in straight line scenarios where you won't really wreck. Then you have a baseline of how much pressure you can use in an emergency. You still might overreact, but it will help more than you think. I always test the braking limits of my tire/brake combo in anything I drive or ride. It's a lil sketchy, but If done right can save the day.
@Derexwinn how bout the rear? I have bottom mine recently cus I didn't know how to stiffer the shock till I found the nob in top of the cylinder under the seat lol. Good shit bro 👏 👌
@@bonesx13 ya I had it almost maxed but there is the one on the top of the rear and then there is the two on top for the front and one on the bottom of the front forks I didn’t know about for a while
@Derexwinn same here I just started fucking with them and trying different settings. Not a bad suspension for stock. Just gotta figure out how many clicks to make it feel good depending the ride.
@@bonesx13 ya so the reason my fronts are blown is the first so many they made they didn’t put a stiff enough spring in the front forks so they blow out easy but the newer ones have the stiffer spring in them
@@Derexwinn Definingly for legal purposes. There needs to be more state infrastructure for e bikes since state and federal govts want people riding those more for emission reasons.
One could buy the Talaria Sting 4 with a controller and be at the same price and performance as the Eride but with no belt drive which is a big deal to some.
They put a fence up. It’s private property. Yeah I know…. What!!!! Just cause people don’t say anything it don’t make it ok. People get hurt riding, and that’s all on the rider. If you gonna ride you gotta be smart, or not that depends on you. Outcomes may vary if you choose to be dumb.
It’s not dumb if the fence wasn’t there the day before and I couldn’t even see it until I hit it the dumb part is putting it up on a obvious entrance and not putting a sign or anything on it
