This thing is just a piece of junk, especially with those buttons still messed up. Wouldn't be surprised if this gets modernized. And yea, it honestly sucks that the Von Maur there is just one floor :(
Update: As of 7/30/2024 the left car is currently being modernized conpletely by Otis. The right car is still original but not for long. One Neenah Center's Vectors are conpletely gone and modernized by Otis. Three Neenah Center's KONE KSS 220s are still original but I assume that they will be modernized shortly.
@@cjelevators223 I can’t say I’m surprised this day will come. Vector parts are really hard to come by, and these supposedly being the last ones in the entire state, they were probably better off being modernized.
These gotta be my most favorite elevators compared to the Hyatt regency in Atlanta and San Francisco. The Marriott Marquis Schindler traction elevators are something to be in love with especially that it’s glass and circular looking
I wonder why so many Otis Autotronics are modernized or will be modernized? Is it because the maintenance is extremely expensive or does it have a short lifespan?
It’s gotten a SECOND slap on mod? It still has the original cab and the original motor. Wonder how they could justify replacing the fixtures for a second time lol. From Innovation Bruiser to Kone KSS at that.
