You can't really go in the water it has brain eating bacteria that kills very fast like a few days , I'm not making it up ...who knows what I'm talking about
I did this hike with my buddy in 1974, though we did it in a day and a half. Ran into 2 bears - one came within 3 feet of me and didn't even look at me. We wore tennis shoes, no gloves and borrowed back packs. Got to the dome and I said...no way. Then I saw a lady coming down the cables with a full back pack (including a sleeping bag) and I said if she can do it, I can do it. Got to the top....and realized we didn't bring the camera. Oh well - great video!
So cool. I flew on the plane that landed that was empty. It's a DHC-3. I think y'all's is a DHC-2. Very fun flight. I should have sat next to the pilot. Didn't ask.
I just took this flight on Sept 5 2022. I was wondering if you know where the Wilkersham Wall is? Maybe you could give me a time stamp. Maybe you'll have it labled. I hope so.
Best video I've seen on this so far. They took the long route which was actually the safest and this clip showed that you don't have to crawl through the creepy little tunnel. Great tutorial!
We hiked year round in Southern California. We are either lucky or just trained in San Gorgonio 2-3 times before we summit. We go slow pace(1 mile per hr enjoying the beautiful trail) and drink a lot of water. 6 hrs to trail camp
