Thank you for doing this. It's a fascinating story and even more fascinating to follow their path. I do a lot of solo hiking in the Idaho Backcountry and stories like this remind me to be extra prepared as to where I'm traveling and to not take unnecessary risks to save time or face. I bet hiking in this area is amazing. I'll have to get there some day.

God, you don't seem to have no mercy on your Children while they'st tryin' to land in a crosswind in Flight Simulator. They can die goin' off the edge of the runway; they can land and drag a wing, then cartwheel into a ball of fire; they can bounce back into the air, stall, and crash back onto the runway, dyin' on Christmas Eve. What I'm tryin' to say, God, is that maybe you can at least show some mercy on your children while they'st flying over old movie filming locations in Flight Simulator.
I'm trying to install this from DVD too. First try, DVD 4 read error... try again. Installation does not resume but restart from the beginning. Keep in mind that every DVD takes about 1/2h to load. Second try, DVD 3 read error. Go back to start. Next try, replacing the DVD drive and hope it get's better. I also installed the download version before. 150+GB took half a day with a fast line. Only to find out that the game gets bricked when trying to run it offline. Since this is an intended update for an existing full cockpit simulator, I need to have the possibility to run it offline. What happened when I started without the internet connection? Well, it asked for DVD1 in the drive. At this point I didn't have the DVD's yet, so I clicked cancel and plugged the network cable in. From that moment, the game didn't start anymore. It loaded like normal, sometimes even got to the main menu... and closed the window. Try again. Safe mode, normal mode start...no difference. Only a re-install helped (another day lost). I'm a bit frustrated....
Between photo time 508 and the first emergency call time 112 was a duration of more than 3 hours. We cannot and please do not assume that Kris and Lisanne have continued to go forward farther and farther away from the El Mirador summit. This kind of non verifiable pre-assumption is wrong ❌ On the opposite side, I believe that these girls have turned around and headed back towards the starting point ( approx. 2 hours on foot ). Then, for some reason, they got into a red truck which belonged to a gang called ND5 and drove away quickly heading in the direction of a famous Hotspring called Caldera ( approx. 1 hour by vehicle ). 2 + 1 = 3 hours Exactly the same time when the first two emergency calls were made. Approximately 4:30 pm. So, why not the Caldera ? Why always the Mirador and Serpent Trail ? Perhaps they have already been locked up in a basement or dark room ? It is possible. Not sure they decided to go hiking before they started volunteering. Upon their arrival in Boquete, the school informed them out of the blue that they didn’t have the right people to train them and would not be needing them for another week. This shocked the girls, as reportedly the school had just sent confirmation online for their start date. The girls had to figure out what to do for a week and signed up for different tours and excursions. Lisanne’s diary entry showed how upset and distressed she felt. Can’t help but wonder if she picked up on some concerning vibes from some people in the town. Anyway, because of the school turning them away, they became tourists for a bit, looking for things to do, sights to see.

The airstrip was right in town, everything you were looking for was on the left taking off and then back behind you. Also not everyone believes in your god, let people believe what they want, it doesn't affect you
When you got to the point of adding the code from the card after loading all 10 dvds, what happened. It is at this point that the whole installation goes south for me. Thank you
Mine is behaving odd. Had to create a folder on a different drive since my os drive is to small. Disk 1 installed ok. Pointed disk 2 to the same drive ask disk 1. It will not have it. Please select the correct destination path etc. Pile of shit.
Yes, it proves, how little to nothing experience they had. According to the point when they started the hike, it seems, they maybe know the "window" ; the timeframe, when they have to start the hike, to get back at afternoon. This could mean: they knew that its a 5 hour hike at least. There is a golden rule at hiking (which espescially experienced hikers know, but its easy to memorize): "Always pack 3x of the amount you think the hike will last" ... so if you think "the hike will only last 5 hours... pack as if its a 15 hour hike" ... If you know you are into a 15 hour hike, you would for sure take food with you, water, rain coat, compass (be sure you know how to use it), knife, a bar of chocolate, first aid kit, at least one pullover, a detailed papermap of that area, and maches/lighter (see that all this things i mentioned now, are things which work without electricity !)...further for sure: smartphone (always fully charged before the hike, not only 50 % charged as Lisanne and Kris had it), and an additional fully charged powerbank. That sounds a lot - but without a guide who knows the area, and considering: someone has no experience at all with hiking, and considering, that that person was never in that area before/doesnt know that area at all, those things i mentioned above are the minimum (!) to go for a 5 hour hike in an unknown area with no experience at all. And i said this as someone who hiked a lot with his uncle in my youth (my uncle worked for mountain- and caverescue - from him i learned a lot about hiking, climbing, and survival) The girls were super careless. For most internetpeople who have equally zero experience with hiking, they only can explain their death as third party involvement. Thats absolutely not necessary. Nature can be at least equally deadly, and more often even more painful deadly, than a human could ever be. Dying from starvation is one of the cruelst deaths.
Yet nobody else has ever got lost and remained lost in that area. It's a, straightforward trail and they made it to the Mirador summit in good time. Quite clearly third party foul play was the reason. It's not the jungle.
@PygmalionFaciebat Im an experienced hiker. Nothing suggests they merely got lost/had an accident. They never used either of the bras as an injury aid (strapping, padding or bandage etc), never left any messages to say goodbye or explain what happened or sent any pending texts etc and if they didnt think they were going to die then conversely they never took any pictures of their ordeal, either as a terrain marker or as a keep sake momento to look back on after they were rescued. Many locals know it was foul play, by a known group. One even confessed to his mother.
I had no end of problems installing the disk version, in the end I gave up. I later went to buy the download version, entered my bank details then went to enter my address but the site was set for USA and I am in the UK so I couldn't finish my address, no way to change it to UK so I left the site. I later found MS had taken the money but nowhere for me to download the sim. Managed to contact MS, got a guy I couldn't understand, after a while he transfered me to an Xbox tech and again got someone I couldn't understand. So after a long time of getting nowhere I gave up, I managed to stop the payment to MS, so after this experience I will leave MS2020 well alone.

I’m just about to wipe the whole of my system again and literally start with a bare system putting just flight sim on then building it up from there. Apparently that works but looks like it’s a McDonald’s and clean install day today!!! Could be a late night!!!

It's awesome to see someone fly one of the MSFS 2020 non-gps/non-autopilot planes while working on navaids. When I started flight simming, I just flew everywhere direct via autopilot and VORs were a complete mystery. I was curious why the 110.2 ACV VOR frequency wasn't working on your nav1 radio. It turns out the frequency changed in the past few years from 110.2 to 115.05. I'll bet Little Navmap hasn't been updated, but MSFS 2020 has, so if you try 115.05 it'll probably work (I haven't tried it in the sim - just a guess).
There is prove that both girls were alive on 8th april. And there is prove, that at least one girl was alive on april 10. The search teams searched way before 8th april already. As far i know, even the parents flew to Panama around 6th April or before and were helping to search the girls. Ironically the girls weren't far away from El Mirador.. only around 3-5 km north from El Mirador. Unfortunately every search team searched west and east and south from El Mirador, but not north of El Mirador. (El Mirador was the one spot from which the host family of the girls knew: the girls wanted to go there).
Indeed.. and nothing of both happened. The foot just rotten away from the ankle. Its not so spectacular like hacked off, i admit. But its the truth. The autopsy of these bones says it clear : that no traces of violence by third party was found on the bones. One of the many bones appeared bleached. But even there the autopsy didnt said ''it was bleached'' but ''it appeared bleached'' ... very BIG difference ! Because ''appear bleached'' left the question open: by what. Scientists only answer the question which they can answer for sure, and dont speculate ''oh because it appeared bleached, than for sure it was bleached'' ... Bones which appeared bleached can have a lot or reasons... for instance when it was by accident for longer on a spot with sunlight. Also the nearby vulcan Banu always makes sulfuric gases, which come down as sulfuric rain ...
These two young women were a vulnerable target because they were not from the area or familiar with that hike. That was their first mistake. Second mistake, they were not experienced hikers and were unprepared for the elements. Perhaps they were also being followed, and didn't know it. That photo of the hair could have been snapped by accident and not during their hike. Sometimes my cellphone camera snaps a photo because my finger accidentally hits the camera button.
Don’t be fooled again and again It was all planned and goof up by locals and police. They had come back from trail hike and then abducted murdered. Pleas watch Alternate Theories channel for most appropriate sequence of events.
Best way to land to is reduce to 75 knots put flaps down 1 about 1 mile out then when ur about about 500 feet full flaps reduce to 60 knots aim for the numbers of the runway til ur about 20 feet from the ground then pull up slowly til u land softly
