I found this video a decade ago and fell in love with this puppeteers work. I finally found out his name after all of these years and U am still in love with his work.
Hey not bad at all, it was interesting to see how they brought the puppets to life with different personalities hopefully, you can link to there future work
If they used their thumb rather than their fingers to talk with it would look more natural when they are talking. I hope the Teacher told them this at some point.
@LadyNekoshema When sung in English it's: Are you sleeping, Are you sleeping Brother John Brother John However when sung in French the lines are in reverse. Brother John (Frére Jacques.) Brother John (Frére Jacques.) Are you sleeping (dome vu) Are you sleeping (dome vu)
@pepsilover1 it look like just polyfoam or reticulated foam, i like using the polyfoam its cheaper and it last alot longer. hope this helps! :) check out my gallery at puppetsandstuff. com under nall29 user albums.
i hope your efforts are rewarded. This medium is so important to our world. Please do another performance for the You Tube. I would be your apprentice.
You are an inspiration! I have wanted to do puppet shows of folk tales to bring a tiny bit of culture back to people who have lost theirs. But you are dealing with true culture building. I want to cry, you are so beautiful!!
Wow, getting a peek at a workshop led by Mr. Henson is a real honor. I just got a puppet for Christmas this year and now I feel inspired to go practice. The only downside is that song is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day! Oh well; thanks so much for posting this!
