That lip syncing like this works is a testament to the power of images, or the importance of giving a face to music sometimes, for lovers of music. I had never seen the original video for this song (never was all that interested) and laughed out loud when I finally did, in no way did I believe for a moment the voice matched the person in the video. Then you hear Charlotte McKinnon singing on another song and it's all cleared up instantly ha ha. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zq27u9YBju8.html My video is sort of an hommage to that--none of the representations are original or match the original singer, yet it's been wildly popular all the same. Fascinating! XD
The current crowd are searching for fun! I predict clubs will be playing music much like this and there will be dance clubs ,huge, lights, no cell phones.
RA8: This is the mix that contains a section from the movie that I’ve been hoping to hear for the longest time. Although it contains new elements that were neither in the film or any official release at the time this is still a banger of a mix.
Thanks for noticing!! I found the stems (isolated tracks) online and it answered the question I'd been curious about for years--where the parts from the film version came from! I had to play with it a bit to get it closer and then ad-libbed, remixed and played with some other parts just for fun. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the comment!
@@AndyG13GLA Yeah, the isolated stems I found online had that synth solo on a separate channel, I mixed it so it sounded more like the section in the film (more echoey) but it's the same used in the movie during the opening credits--seems like they just didn't use it on any other mixes/releases other than the movie version for some reason. I also but back an alternate guitar solo they recorded [04:56] and there were some alternate-take versions of Cara's vocals/vamping or parts where they doubled her vocals...not all of them were up to par so it was obvious why they didn't use them ha ha. It's really fun to listen to all the tracks broken down and hear what they used and didn't, if you're a fan of the song. Sadly I don't remember where I found it and it wasn't ever commercially released sooo.... 😅
@@AndyG13GLA since you're interested, here's that section with the raw stems, no fx and the other instruments muted 😎ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gSqYE7FogXs.html

Lo bailes suave, la cadencia es lenta, impulsando el tronco y la cabeza suavemente hacia adelante y atrás al ritmo de los beats, inclusive permaneciendo en el mismo lugar...así se bailaba en los 80s.
man oh man power 106 had those mixes like only in my dreams into will to power dreamin so cheesy so whatever it was awesome just a basic mix using TURNTABLES not a stupid ass computer that does all the work.. turntables that you had to adjust the pitch control yourself and match that bpm didnt always sound perfect but even when it was off beat a little it sounded cool.. i hate the overly perfect mixes now because all the work is done for you while you stand on a stage and look like a total idiot dancing while thinking your mixing.. anyway bbbbboris and chris la club mix was the best
