Thanks for watching! If you haven't already, I encourage you to check out my channel on Rumble, I have many more videos posted there and plan to abandon RU-vid soon due to their anti-gun sentiments. rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher
Thank you for sharing the Christian word at the end brother. I started watching because I just got this press recently and I needed to get it setup. Your words on faith were well received today. Thanks brother. Blessings to you for your kindness.
Thanks for the encouraging words. In case you weren't aware, I'm no longer posting new videos on RU-vid but I have a channel on Rumble rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher If you are interested you could follow me there. I have many more videos posted over there. Thanks for watching!
I have had this tool for several years the first few I had no problems, Now I have been having problems seating some primers, hard to seat and not square in primer pocket hole. I think I will just go back to my RCBS bench primer tool, no problems.
dude its not broken. That's how its engineered you don't reload with the bolt locked that is for firing. Spin it by hand line it up pull the lever and it will go in the hole. The conversion cylinder is engineered differently to land a round in your loading gate. I bet if you take some measurements and angles you'll see the cylinders are different
Imagine relating everything to your brand of superstition and fan fiction. This is why religious people are intolerable and many rational people can’t stand to be around them.
Hey Plinkin Preacher, I was generally searching for Black Powder Videos & I came across your video. Thanks for posting your I really enjoyed it. I have been shooting black powder weapons for a number of years now, and I cast and load my own ammo; I mostly shoot 45-70, 45-90, & 40-65 in a few different rifles. I did notice your bullets particularly their blue in color lube? I have never seen that type of lube (Blue) used in any lead casted black powder bullet. I hope either its a lube I'm not familiar with & its working okay for you and Not leaving too much black powder residue inside your barrel, either way, if it is just ignore me 😂, it caught my attention & I was just curious. Again, thanks for the video. P.S. I generally use "SPG" or I make my own.
Hi Jeff, thanks for the comments and for watching. Those are Missouri Bullet Company bullets with their special black powder lube. Not sure what they use but it works. I'm moving my channel over to Rumble, just tired of all the RU-vid issues. If you are interested you can check it out at rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher. I've gotten into bullet casting but haven't tried 45-70 yet. Maybe will in the future. Enjoy!
I just got into BP, and bought my first Pietta Remington Being pretty good with machines-parts in general…im going to say that is the teeth behind the cylinder. They are more worn than the conversion cylinder…Soo, that rounded profile on the top of the teeth are causing some slop in the assembly.I stead of the cylinder stopping dead on allowing the plunger to line perfectly through to each chamber, instead the cylinder is turning and or stopping just a touch farther I would think no big deal, and to just spin the cylinder until it lines up with the rod
Thanks for the suggestion. Hope you enjoy the BP revolver! If you are interested, I have a duplicate channel on Rumble rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher. I'm no longer posting videos on RU-vid.
I personally make sure to push my belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster onto my viewers whenever I make informative videos that have nothing to do with my faith.
@@jetskiwillywilly7970 do you have the ball bearings set in the right place? I've never had a bullet stick in the feeder, as I said in my video sometimes the die sticks in the upper position but it still drops the bullet and doesn't affect the operation. Maybe you should give Lee a call. They are pretty good with customer service.
I also saw you mentioned the powder reservoir for the powder measure you have, I have that, in the bit older version, doesn't have the red bottom, and Lee has caps that can be turned off that fit the 1lb bottles of powder just fine, you twist and they turn off, the only issue with them is the fact that you can not see when the bottle goes empty, because they are black, so I use the clear ones that come with the caps. I learned that the hard way, fortunately I weigh every one of my 45-70 rounds, so it was obvious which were missing powder.
I have both the old style and new, triangle style Lee primer tool, and I have to say, that yes they are not flawless, but what is? I would say after thousands of rounds through each, I have very few issues with them, perhaps 1 or 2 out of a hundred, don't go in the cup correctly. I have not modified it at all. To be fair I mostly use the large primers, but I have also done a few of the small ones. I have recently bought a ultimate turret press also, in the last week, and it seems to be doing fine. I previously had one that was similar to a classic, but a cheaper version, not sure what it was called.
You’re naive if you think any social platform is not harvesting your data. If you are not paying (and probably then too) to be a client then you are the product.
Nobody said religious people were smart, dude. This dude relates everything to the Bible, even the most arbitrary things like a bullet feed system. It’s pretty sad to see somebody that brainwashed.
I used to tell people basically the same thing in the late 80's through the early 2k's about turning a blind eye for convenience would end up costing dearly in the freedom department. I am guilty of watching a whole lot of RU-vid though. Some really good like Joe Kirby and a lot of gun stuff too. I watch a lot of Christianity related stuff and it's heartbreaking seeing some of these "preachers" with hundreds of thousands (+) followers/subscribers and they teach the wrong message. I will occasionally chime in and say "here's why/where you are wrong etc." but it gets deleted or hidden by either the corrupted followers (whom should be following Jesus Christ in the first place, but instead fear I'm going to hurt the video publishers feelings or ego and silence my comment) or the publisher themselves hide my comment. I was excited to find your channel because of how straightforward and genuine you are...I always like how you lead into scripture from a dirty gun etc. Hopefully people will wake up and realize that Jesus is king of kings, lord of lords, the first and the last and the scripture is truth. Opinions of "pastors" that contradict the word is poisonous, yet people blindly go along with it.
looked up rumble...still haven't signed up yet though, but will. Your videos are uplifting for those whom suffer from depression. The thing about leaving youtube is that you are one of the preachers on this platform that isn't here for the greed of green. There are so many others on here that will say things like "we always take prayer requests" etc. but only AFTER they ask for donations. I don't have anything against making money, and I know it takes money to keep a big channel going especially if it's become their main source of income, but... well without being too judgmental...some of them are more interested in deceit. Just knowing the scripture doesn't make one a Christian, having a reverend title doesn't make one a Christian, being an active pastor doesn't make one a Christian...and on and on. There are far too many people that misinterpret that which has already been interpreted and they give meaning to it with their own definition to fit the narrative in their lives whatever it may be. You seem genuine and have the ability to attach scripture to whatever you are speaking of in the moment in a way that is relatable and understandable.
Preacher, there are 2 fixes for lee rotating powder measure. Polish the in side with Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish. I just did it to my new Deluxe. I completely disassembled it and polished it inside and out for me it made it easier not worrying about where the paste ended up. 2nd, there is videos on smoothing out the drum with sand paper 600 grits, but I just learned from another RU-vidr that he used 0000 steal wool. You chuck it into a cordless drill on the stim hope this helps God bless you
@plinkinpreacher456 I just finished using 0000 steal wool on powder drums, which worked great. I also used dryer sheets after steal wool while drum was on drill and it really polished it up. I ran dryer sheets though the powder measure and hopper for static electricity. I also did take apart the Lee primer apart and boiled for 5 min with 1/4" bolt today I have 3 small washer to help level out the primer arm
You have a good eye. I never noticed that before. I disassembled it again and it appears as though the guide rod was manufactured about 1/8" too long. The pistol functions fine, no problems firing it or any issues with failures but you are right. I'll have to contact Ruger and get a new guide rod for it. Never had quality issues like that with Ruger before.
Good explanation. I just got mine today, and your video was much easier for me to follow than the instruction manual. I have a Hornady AP LnL, but am struggling to get the primer tool station to work... this is a good backup.
do you mean use a magnet when you take the die apart to keep the bearings from falling on the floor? not sure how that would work. once you get it back together the bearings stay in place fine. Thanks for watching!
Sorry about that Doug. I forgot to put the link in the description for this video. You can find the link in my previous two videos on the ultimate turret press and the inline bullet feeder. I'll add it to this video. Thanks for watching!
Yet again I'm sitting here with a fear of depression bearing on my mind and your video comes up in my feed... the close of the video felt as if though you were speaking directly to me. About the safety prime I lucked out and found another original set still nib and picked it up. The originals had the really nice lifetime trays instead of the flimsy folding ones. My problem with LEE is the fact that they started looking for ways to make things even cheaper so that they wear out quickly as opposed to how they used to do things...cheap, but reliable and many things could last a lifetime at a fraction of the cost of others.
Nice video. I am getting one of these tomorrow and your explanations are really good. I enjoyed the last segment on God. Every round I load now that is what I will be thinking of. I do worship music and my son is a Pastor. Never pass up a chance to witness. God Bless You..
Thanks for the encouraging words! My son is also a Pastor and plays guitar for the worship music in his church. In case you didn't know, I have a duplicate channel over on Rumble, a much less invasive platform. I'm encouraging folks to follow me over there as I'll be leaving RU-vid by the end of May. I did a little research and found out some things about RU-vid that made me want to get away from it. Here's a link to my Rumble channel rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher you would need to sign up and give them some information in order to follow me but they don't track you or sell your info like RU-vid does. I pray the Lord will bless you and your son's ministry. We are living in trying times but were called by God "for such a time as this."
Not sure what you are referring to. Mine came with the bottom plastic piece which holds the tubes and slips into the bullet feeding die and a top plastic piece which slips over the tubes at the top only
@@TheOnlyBigRed32 I looked through my stuff and found what you were talking about. My magazine came with clear tubes for .35 caliber and yellow tubes for .30 caliber. I think that piece would also work with the yellow tubes on a .30 caliber bullet feeding die. it has a smaller inside diameter. I don't have an APP press and I don't intend to buy a .30 caliber feeding die. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for watching. If you are interested I'd encourage you to go to my channel on Rumble (same content) and follow me there. rumble.com/user/plinkinpreacher At the end of April I'm going to stop uploading to the RU-vid channel. There's just too much intrusion from the RU-vid platform.
That’s a nice setup. Sad to see you leave RU-vid. I have a Rumble channel and it really isn’t worth my time. The masses are on RU-vid. RU-vid is just bad with the censorship.
I have read though most of the comments to find if you have resolved or fixed the pistols issue. I also when to your channel page to see if there was a follow up video. So my guess is your just living with it the way it is? (Is this a MIDWAY USA thing?) On your ending segment I have come to believe that Paul was a self appointed apostle of Yeshua The Christ. I do believe Christ Loved him and guided him. But he was a thorn it the original 12/11 side. I also think that the Bible has conveniently included to many of his writings. And not one from Thomas or Mary. So i am not a Pauline follower.IMO!
you are right about the revolver, I'm just living with it. In regard to the apostle Paul, we will have to agree to disagree. Thanks for watching and for your comments!
LOVE MINE!!! I also love Glock 26s, and for me, it’s like someone said” let’s take the 26 and update it with the phenomenal trigger, great texture, easier to rack the slide, slightly smaller, but hold more rounds, put an accessory rail on it, and make it optics ready with great night vision sites.”
