I will be wearing animal print. I’m not a fan of plaid. I live in the south. So I might wear a leather jacket or blazer. But I’m sure any other kind of leather would be too warm. I don’t normally wear dresses or skirts. But I do own a few denim shirts I can wear with my jeans. I love burgundy. I think I have a few sweaters. I don’t look as great in green or brown doesn’t go with my coloring anymore. I used to wear both colors. But not too much anymore. When you get older, I’m 65, your coloring changes. Maybe if my hair would go gray I might look better. I don’t own any faux fur. I did have a friend who had a real mink coat. It was beautiful. But it was a lot of work. If she didn’t wear it she stored it somewhere that was temperature controlled. But it was really soft and a beautiful coat. I don’t think I would own real fur either. Some PETA person may throw paint on you.
You look great in all the dresses. I like Quince for what they have. I’ve gained some weight since the medicine I take I’m not sure they have my size anymore.
Quince is my new obsession! I’ve placed two orders and am loving everything I’ve gotten! I can’t get enough of the Quince hauls because the website doesn’t do the clothes justice imo. The way they style the models, it’s really hard to tell what the piece will really look like. So thanks for these videos! Personally, I prefer brand specific videos like this.
No, they're definitely not PJs. I wear them around the house, the fabric is incredible, nice elastic and pockets. You could probably wear them out but they're loungewear for me and they're verrrrry long. Hope that helps!
Just wanted to say I adore your videos and I agree with a lot of the items on your list. I love that you included items that some influencers are saying are "out of style" at the moment. A knee high boot is NEVER out of style and I also think an equestrian/riding boot is always a classic & classy look. 🥰💗😍 Luckily, I live in PA, where it is boot weather for 8-9 months a year, because I have a boot addiction that would exist no matter where I lived 🤣 And I applaud you 👏 for not being scared to speak your mind and have an opinion on something most people love (like flip-flops). I agree, flip-flops good for the beach, and look kinda cheap and inappropriate in most other situations. I enjoy your content & always look forward to the next video😊

They did?! Going to look rn lol. I will say, just because something is dated doesn’t mean retailers stop selling it. You can still find the cold shoulder tops, those print kimonos and a lot of these other styles everywhere!
This video is about trends I wouldn’t wear, not personally attacking anyone or meant to offend. I follow a popular RU-vidr who wears a lot of vests and she looks adorable in them! But they’re not for me. It’s supposed to be fun and light hearted, not that deep. I actually saw an old photo of myself in someone’s video recently talking about outdated styles and it was funny! Trends are what they are and we’re all allowed to like and dislike different things.
@@LifewithMar point taken. and you are right, it is light hearted. and while personally i wouldnt even let my husband catch me wearing boxer shorts, i think mom edit amy looks adorable in them. It just struck me as rude to use her photo. While i find it unbelievable someone used you in their video I am glad you laughed when you saw yourself.
I agree with all. Barrel leg jeans.....lol. I saw a woman wearing them in the mall and as she was coming towards me, I just wanted to laugh. They look sooo silly. I don't see that trend lasting long. I love vests. I always wore them with a t-shirt or blouse but never as a top by itself. Now that everyone and their grandmother is wearing them, I won't wear mine. I will wait until the trend dies down before I pull mine out again. On my no go fashion trend list is the denim maxi skirt. Been there, done that. I just don't find denim swishing around my legs to be comfortable at all.
Yup! Unpopular opinion perhaps but it’s really hard to recommend denim without trying it on IRL. I can gauge what things will look great for the most part but jeans are really tricky. Also, everyone has such widely different tastes on what they’re shopping for. Some people aren’t into flare, some only want wide-leg, etc. So, I kept it out! (I’m more of a dress girly anyway)

My personal tip is to also have a long sleeve shirt that is full linen (or at least cotton). It is breathable and is great for those extra sunny summer days and beach trips. They keep you cool, stylish and are great physical sun protection! I also love my straw hats 😊

I live in South Florida and we are moving back north where we are from. I don’t have a capsule wardrobe. I don’t believe in them. I wear mostly dresses and jeans with tops. I recently got rid of half my Florida stuff and picked up fall-winter stuff. As I age I find my tastes change and the way I dress also changes - except for dresses and jeans. I will always wear them 80% of the time.
I love this video! I didn't realize I needed this video, but this is SOOOOO helpful for some upcoming parties this summer where I DON'T want to be in a swimsuit, but didn't see it as an opportunity to wear a beautiful, summery "resort vibe" dress until I watched this video. I would likely have dreaded picking out an outfit and wouldn't have felt cute. I'm definitely more excited for my upcoming get togethers and thinking about different hot weather, pool party options that will make me feel beautiful and not weird for not wanting to swim in the pool. People that get in the pool are always trying to coax everyone else to "get in and join them!" 😅 It's annoying, but I get it, I've been there. Just not interested this season and I'll be looking pretty while I politely refuse and lounge by the poolside 🤣
