Thanks so much for recording this. Unrelated but: did you record Playboi Carti backstage one time? I remember the description or a block of text in the video saying photography/videography was prohibited backstage during Carti's arrival or something. Was that you? Thanks again.
For real. Why do they put all the festivals/outdoor concerts in the summer? Especially when we're talking about artists that clearly have majority adult audiences. Why aren't fall festivals more popular?
@@staygold902 It's great they all know the songs, but damn man.. Who do they wanna listen to? They can do that stuff in their bedroom. Listen to the Lady. If they want the interactive experience go to the church and sing some hymns or something with the rest of the choir. I gotta be honest, it would bug the hell out of me for a lot of these songs. I get some of the more upbeat bombastic, louder songs.. but sheesh. Come on. 😂It's fun watching em' freak out when she does American Teenager though. It's like the Beatles or something.
@Fiveash-Art there are performances I've seen where the crowd participation was everything, eg. Oasis in Argentina, it was ridiculous but not for every single song
@@staygold902 I could see that for heavier rock bands that aren't as dynamic as Hayden's music .. Some of the quieter more intimate parts seem to get lost under the chanting. Ha .. I mean, it's cool they know the music, but it's not like it's some arena rock crap like Oasis. Sorry .. I can't stand that band. Ha ha.. I was in my early 20s when they were coming up and I only knew them for those few annoying hits they had, .. and let me tell you they were heavily rotated ad nauseam. They always sounded like rip off to me .. There were so many Brit bands making better stuff at that time. I never understood why those guys got so much attention. That Liam guy is a piece of work too .. what a douchebag he is. 😂
nice to finally hear her voice on bette Davis eyes. the crowd couldn't drown her vocals out becuase they didnt know the song. haha. concerts these days its so hard to hear the artist over the crowds horrible shouting/"singing".
@@frankiec3659 It's why fanaticism is often described as a virus and probably why I want to just get away from anyone displaying those tendencies. If I had finally gotten to see her for the first time live, and some idiot next to me was doing that, .. or the whole crowd even. It would just blow the whole thing for me. I love this girl's music, but her fans are a bit on the annoying side. I'm glad she has her audience, .. but man, they're goofy. "Certain linguistic anthropologists think that religion is a language virus that rewrites the pathways in the brain, dulls critical thinking."
@@Fiveash-Art yes her fans can be a little overzealous/goofy. But to be fair, aside from those two incidents, it was the most respectful crowd I’ve ever been in for a concert. There was no shoving at all to get closer to the front. If she asked the crowd to do something everybody listened. For example, she played her new song Amber Waves and in the nicest way possible basically told everyone to shut their traps for that song. And no one uttered a peep. There was also this extremely tall guy, like 6’5” at least, that offered to let my friend and I move in front of him so we could see. We didn’t even ask. It was an amazing show, the best one I’ve ever been to. I really hope you get the chance to see her live soon! I’m sure you’ll have a great experience
