So sad to see that today on college campuses across America, college students are protesting against Israel and Jews. They have learned nothing from history. Antisemitism is alive and well in the United States in 2024. Pure evil.
Yes, my aunt went through this in France. She watched them kill her family while she hid in the hay stack. My adoptive father has a simular story as he came from yougoslovi. I've seen the brands on the wrist of many who survived, these people converted to Christianity when they came here. We are living the same thing now, only thing, they are renaming the game.
My late father-in-law was a tank commander and fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and he drank himself to death. He died of cirrhosis. He would never talk about his experience in Rhineland and Italy when he was sober. Once he started drinking, he opened up, and that was all he talked about, and he would start remember seeing his tank buddy get blown up and off his body, and he would continue on with all the atrocities he witnessed during the war. It was so sad and heartbreaking to watch such a WW2 hero standing straight and proud and then ending up losing both his legs, becoming dependend upon everyone and ultimately die of cirrhosis.
Cant imagine Germans can be so cruel. No wonder God's grace came to the world through the Reformation. However Germany has to repent for their acts in World War II especially against the Jews.
always felt sorry for her when watching her and her family sing, she always looked sad in always in the background, nice to hear she's actually a strong woman
This is the best interview done to date of Lily. I have spent many many hours with this family and can vouch that there are no finer people anywhere. So glad to hear her go into even more detail here than even in her books. Bless you for hosting her and bless my friends The Isaacs who are even now in Israel.
I am definitely a big fan of the Issacs ! What beautiful talented family ! I love Lily’s beautiful story ! I so enjoyed them with the Gaither’s and I just saw them at my hometown a couple weeks ago ! God bless Lily Isaacs and her family. None of us can imagine what your family had to endure and we pray that by your telling the story this horrible atrocity will never happen again.
My Jewish mother of blessed memory also came to America from Poland when she was a toddler with her parents my zayde and bubbe of blessed memory not long before Hitler invaded Poland in 1939. A synagogue sponsored my zayde and his family because he was a Rabbi. I have relatives who died in the Shoah. My father was a goy of Irish heritage from the Shenandoah valley of VA. and my folks met while my father was in the army in the 1950s. I grew up in the Shenandoah valley and was homeschooled and in our home school co op my mother and I were the only Jews yet my father as a Christian and a goy from the Shenandoah valley of VA. he loved southern gospel music and bluegrass and classic country so I grew up on listening to the Carter family and Earl Scruggs and Ralph Stanley and Bill Monroe and Ricky Scaggs. My father grew up without electricity and indoor plumbing also in the 1930s during the depression
