Getting Scadutree fragments increase your overall damage and reduce your damage taken. If you have the same stats as me, collect all the Scadutree fragments and use the same armor and weapons you can do exactly what I do. There are also a lot stronger builds out there now.
That rage though Michael 🤣🤣 I need to upload the vid from my perspective where you say finishable, and I turn to finish (my unpowered melee is mapped to my R3) and melee instead.
Nice job with one weapon. Level 150, it's nice with a lot of strength and a bit dex for this weapon which scales on it. And the weapon art up your stats ! Well done. I'm on lvl 190 ^^. I play Guts sword and another colossal. I just lived a nearly victory depending on one hit, it's been 4 days that I face her. It was so close but very good RNG. Maybe I will cry when I win and try to listen this beautiful music
@@Stormbull It was so good! I opened my build to Arcane/bleed, put Mohg talisman and used my faith incantations to fire her and electrify the zone. I breathed with my mouth and tried to keep my calm. At least, she used her waterfowl twice in the whole fight and I dodged her clones once. Oh this music, so good. I screamed BOOYA!!!
In the EDZ first seen in EDZ: Combustion Story Mission. After climbing the elevator you come to this area with this view. Additionally you can go there without the mission active by progressing where you take the elevator is but taking a fallen teleporter instead.
Dude I swear I'm doing absolutely the same shit, but everytime I jump-attack she does a spin attack that fucks me over, and in every other situation, she spams a front sword slash that has the range of an intercontinental missile that no matter how much I run or roll, still hits me
You are very close then if you understand her moves. You just got to get that internal timer on when she does waterfowl and how to punish some more attacks and you'll get it.
@@Stormbull Yo I actually defeated her today lol. Honestly, after so many attempts I got to a point where I could avoid and punish all of her attacks (it felt more like muscule memory tbh hehe), except the waterfowl. Part of my strategy was to try and bait the waterfowl around 60% and 20% hp, sometimes it'd work and sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes she would even bait me back making me think she wouldn't waterfowl my ass by using other attacks, and the moment I decided to strike, she would indeed waterfowl my ass. About the spin I mentioned in my comment, I found out that I could just bait it out of her by running into and away from her. If she didn't attack, it was safe to jump in.
I'm on this boss now using the Greatsword, and its a nightmare. Been stuck on her for days. I refuse to change my entire build just for one boss but it seems impossible I have 10 flasks in health and 2 in FP. Greatsword my left hand which I two hand with Lion Claw, and a regular Dagger in my right that I only use for Bloodhound step. But that's just for insurance. I've died to her so many times that I can survive her triple attack from hell about 50% of the time by just rolling Anyways, I've done phase 1 so many times that I know all her moves and can avoid/counter all except that 1 damn near perfectly. Could get to phase 2 with 8-10 health flasks It's just phase 2 seems impossible. She's so damn aggressive that it feels like there's almost no openings to attack, and when I do stop running and go to attack, she uses a follow up. I don't know if I'm getting bad luck with the AI, but she's aggressive to the point where I can't even sprint across the area to heal because she never stops stalking me down. Most I've taken her health bars down is to around 50%
For phase 2 you might want to utilise the stamina tech where you're sprinting and toggle crouch and uncrouch because it gives you a burst of stamina without completely stopping your forward momentum. There are a few openings but you're probably not going to get the opportunity to do as much damage as you are used to, it will probably be a slower endeavour than phase 1. Finding the openings will be hard since you'll be emotionally drained from phase one alone and phase two is quite different in gameplay. Like you said she is more aggressive that that is very true about Malenia phase 2, so you need to manage your stamina while running away, watch her attacks and see if you can get behind her for a cheeky R1 for some damage and buildup towards a stagger.
I was 150, but I did it on another playthrough at level 101 before the latest patch. It's doable 100% but if you have low health you might want to re-spec to get more health because it's a big help to make thing easier.
