I'm sure the tutorial is great and I think if the sound quality was also great it would have been even greater. I'm sorry to say that I can't watch the rest because I find it difficult to understand what's being said due to the sound quality and also the constant corrections when explaining things. I think some rehearsals beforehand can fix this. Overall I support your work and thanks for the effort of making this tutorial.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that the videos didn't match your expectations, and we will have your comments into consideration for the next videos.
Really cool! I thought you wanted to take a break from working on this project. What is Korge Forge? Does it do more than the plugin for IntelliJ Idea?
It is the plugin with some stuff stripped, like Java things that are not relevant, and provides a stable IDE version to keep things working and up-to-date. It also includes a new Resource Explorer that allows to view resource thumbnails directly right into the IDE. There are plans to restore the Visual Editor and a new Live Preview directly into the IDE.
Your tutorials are excellent but I want to follow it and the chess atlas images do not appear when I run the program and I don't know why, what is it and I follow your steps, thanks friend. a suggestion if you can make a tutorial on how to start with fleks thank you again god bless you
It's so cool, KorGE is an amazing project, even more user-friendly than Libgdx which I used before. I'm looking forward to it surpassing Unity to become the preferred option for cross-platform mobile game development. Your work is really fantastic, giving those of us who love Kotlin the opportunity to develop our own favorite games. I hope KorGE continues to grow and improve!
I'm getting an error about chess.atlas.json not being found. I downloaded your asset packs and there are no JSON files in them. Are there supposed to be JSON files?
The functions "onCollision()" and "collidesWith()" are no longer available. What are their updated versions? Sadly, I can't find them in the documentation.
What do you mean? You can find all the .glb models we are using in videos here: github.com/korlibs/korge-k3d/tree/f1fb3c4db97c87b9543e14cf6788dd6dd6b6b931/src/commonMain/resources For the mascots, you can watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xwKpTDIEJvA.html And check the mascots github repository: github.com/korlibs/korge-mascots
@@awindlike1457 mình thích kotlin lắm mà nghe nói soy h ko bảo trì cho korge nữa nên chuyển qua học godot r bạn, godot đang phát triển mạnh vn cũng mới có job có gì bạn tham khảo thử
Hello, thanks for the video, but I've got a problem with .ktree files. I simply can't open them in "editor" mode. Do you know what could be the problem and should I download any extra extensions to be able to work with these files in a convenient way?
At 3:07 it seems that in the current version of KorGE (or at least my version of KorGE), one must use "override suspend fun SContainer.sceneInit()" instead of "override suspend fun Container.sceneInit()". Hope this helps anyone who had the same problem.
It's sad that you're replaced on the next video so that I can't hear your narration improvement. It's sad that you're not given any chance to improve it. The next videos were narrated probably by a German.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I don't think it is sad, but it is awesome that I had help for creating this kind of content, specially from German people that are super nice. If you want to hear my narration improvements or regressions, you can still check other posterior videos or talks of mine: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k0_ewOxWMm0.html Im starting my holidays now, but I will probably create more content in the future, though might not be in this format.
@@soywiz I agree with you, German people are super nice. On my previous comment I said "The next videos were narrated probably by a German." because I had caught a small hint of German accent in the narration.
Not new to programming, but new to Kotlin and KorGE looks very interesting. I wish your font was set larger, but maybe I'll have better luck on my PC, rather than tablet.
