As a beginner with the Prophet (not a beginner with synths exactly), this video is awesome. Super practical. There are a million ways to use this thing, and here's a guy showing you his method complete with looking at a couple interesting quirks of the synth.
Very awesome patches... the problem with these instructional videos is the following: Nobody can follow which module is patched to the other and which jack connections patch goes to the other. The prime reason is that there are too many cables already patched all over the machine. If you could maybe begin each patch with no cables in the machine it would be 100% more valuable and a lot easier to follow and learn. Please do this in your next videos. I'm a fan and I would be very greatful. Thanks in advance ☺️ 👍
Excellent presets. Great fun to play around with. I have the subzero and sequent collection for my subsequent 37. Helps insire me to create new sounds i otherwise wouldnt be able to get out of it❤️👍
Really good stuff, mate. I’m well on my way to a full rack. I have a burning question… how are you triggering the drum hits without any wires being used? Is something going around the back?
I'm so glad to see some 3rd party presets for this beautiful sounding synth. I think most of the factory presets are kind of weak. Thanks. I will definitely be getting these.
The WAV loops are previews of the 107 presets and by using the matching MIDI file you can achieve the exact same sound. Then you can use it "as is" or alter the MIDI melody and/or preset sound to use in your productions.
