I'm 58 which puts me in my teens and early 20's through the 80's and while I greatly enjoyed all the 80's music when it was released, to be honest at the time I disliked most the the brat pack and other young actors of the period. While I thought Risky Buisness, the The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's day off were great and seen all these movies as soon as they were released, I'll never forget getting stuck watching St. Elmos Fire with my girfriend. Maybe I was jealous at how rich and good looking they were. Fast forward to today and I look at those actors like Rob Lowe with appreciation of my generation.
He has a voice I can listen to althea time very sexy. Very handsome wish I could have caught him No matter how old he gets still a hunk.best male actor in the world.❤❤❤luv him.
Thank you Gen X Dad for discovering this Eddie Money (RIP) track to me , and also making this sublime 80s montage video. Aint gonna lie, brought a tear to this grown mans eye !. :)
What other songs you ask: 1) Alphaville "Forever young" 2) Five for Fighting "100 Years" 3) ABC "Look of Love" 4) Roxy Music "Avalon" & "More Than This" actually that whole album Avalon 5) Modern English "I Melt with You" 6) OMD "If You Leave" 7) Simple Minds "Don't You Forget About Me" 8) Talk Talk "Talk Talk" & "It's My Life" 9) Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms" Then again, anything from their 1980 album "Making Movies" 10) .38 Special "Caught Up In You" & "You Keep Runnin" 11) Marc Cohn "True Companion", "Strangers in a Car", & "Silver Thunderbird" Not necessarily from the 80's but from another good period of time in my life the 90's.
great list. the older i get the more i like Alphaville's Forever Young. I remember seeing a list that had If You Leave as one of the worst songs of the 80's, but I absolutely loved it back then and still do.
that is exactly my thoughts as well. Season 1 was one of my fav seasons of any show all time and Teddy Hoffman one of my fav characters. Just bad timing and bad ego.
God I grew up with these movies and music.. Wonder what was the one more movie he had in his heart before he died... Face it They ALL came from his heart!
I want to be cross walk guard wherever I have the most grandkids going to school, but to honest I want to travel a bit an go hiking and to take up drawing again and maybe learn to paint.
