This would still work with a Windows OS? For sure you can’t use it with bluetooth, cuz midi over bluetooth doesn’t work in Windows (you can use a software to make the bridge but it will encrease latency, and none that I know are very stable)
Yes compatible with Live 11 but need latest version of Max (free). Check this tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZLTY-8Hr9l4.html
Thanks, some of the most helpful Ableton videos out there. Not sure if you listened to Charli xcx's Brat but a workshop on that style of pop (hyper pop?) production would be awesome
hello mr. side brain! I bought the controller and love using it. I'm curious if there is a possibility to have the device be used an a midi controller to record midi clips? or is this more geared towards live play and resampling? you're the man sb
Bought it earlier today... damn, your channel truly is a gold mine. It's cool to be able to control the vector stick of the Arturia Prophet VS with the DS4's touchpad. Not sure yet what the joysticks would be good for (since they snap back to 0), any ideas?
that makes me dizzy, i love that i can be randomized and u can record it, but when i make music all the notes tell a story. if u render that song two times its gonna be two diffrent songs...
You are absolutely right. I feel in some way, this where all music is going. Eventually we might both asked for the same song from AI but due to the limited randomization nature of AI we’re both going to get similar but different songs.
A great device, really enjoying it. Was wondering if there is a work around to record the automated parameters into the arrangement view, because at the moment they are being ‘modulated’ by the game pad device like a lfo so no automation can be recorded. Also looked into trying to create it as a routed input control surface so it can do things such as record the played notes without having to re route it through a seperate midi channel. Is it possible for max to be opened seperately and used as the game pad host and input it into ableton? Thank you for the device and your time
is there a way to use two or more gamepads at once and not share inputs? like a controller and the 8bitdo buttons mapped to different actions from each other
It might work with Ableton Suite 10 but you need the latest version of Max installed, it’s free you don’t need the full Max license just Max for Live which comes built in with Ableton Suite See tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZLTY-8Hr9l4.html
