@geckowarrior30 there is a very small acceleration gain with an aftermarket carb but we actually reverted back to the standard carb due to easier set up and all round performance. We didn't feel the amount of gain outweighed trying to set it up. Mr H says he has it for sale if you want it with the bell mouth and cable?
Hi, really good renovation job you have done there 👍I'm interested in maybe getting one of these, I've heard the engines are very good. Can you tell me is the engine power good power for your motorhome, what is the top speed and is it okay for uphill? also do you know approx what mpg you get from it? cheers, Nige
Well if you get one of these you're definitely going to need to allow a little more travel time when getting about but thats part of it! We are usually 50-55 on a motorway. Uphill can be slow but we learn to ignore the traffic build up. The engine can stand all winter without being started and then turn over perfectly in spring. Never misses a beat.
What a lovely man a true gentleman, road racing comes at a very high price at times but what an amazing sport full of wonderful people rip to all the fallen riders
Joey should have been given a ride on a top Grand Prix motorcycle team. He could have been champion- he would have given people like Roberts, Sheene, Uncini and Mamola a run for their money.
Hope Shannon is ok. Good footage till the end, and the off made it a very sad ending. Take care look forward to a good positive follow up video from Shannon when she's feeling better
The best passenger I had fell out at the Bus Stop on his first ever race with me. We went on to be a pairing that lasted 8 years, winning club championships and doing the TT several times. He never did fall out again. Hopefully Shannon is OK and not put off by her experience.
Shannon was a bit nervous to get back on a track (albeit 2 wheels this time) but she did and although the injury is now a confirmed break, she is taking a week out of racing to let it heal. She isn't put off sidecars at all and hopes to get another opportunity at some point to passenger again!
Heya thanks for posting this little video dropped you a sub. Am racing a cb500 next season with thundersport so will be doing my acu early next year. Good luck with your racing and good luck with your channel. If you ever need help growing your channel or advice pop me a message on Instagram as run a small channel my self. Canva is a great ap for making thumbnails for your videos.
I'm not even a motorcycle fan, but Joey Dunlop was unique. He went to the very top of his sport but remained as humble as he was when it all began. Every year he drove to Romanian orphanages with a van load of food and other humanitarian aid. He never even publicised this. One worker said her memory of him was eating corn beef and baked beans with the orphans. He was a reluctant super star.
I was truly honoured and blessed to witness The Great Joey Dunlop Win many times at the TT... Everyone loved him... Tge entire island was always behind Joey to WIN... Rivers of tears when he passed. Your legacy lives on Joey & your family’s contribution to the sport is magnificent. All heroes.. God speed to the All Star Dynasty of the Dunlop team... We Thankyou all so much...
Thanks for the video really informative, I’m hoping to get my acu license this year and have only been on one track day before, do you think I would need to go on some more before doing the test day? Had you been on track before other the sidecar stuff?
No I hadn't. This was my first time on a track on my bike. Although I had the mini sidecar, that's on karting circuits and was so different to mallory! I don't think you need a track day before tbh. The instructors were very informative and gave us plenty of time and space on the track itself. If you can practise a race start, it might be beneficial but you could do that on a side road.
2-15-22. THANK YOU!!!!!!! for the upload!! I know it means alot to HIS FANS!! Anyone who can’t appreciate this, regardless of quality, should lick dirty buttholes!! Cheers to all good people and JOEY WAS “YER MAUN”!
@@steakmeal74 nah, Michael is good and I know he's the most successful TT rider ever, but he isn't on par with Joey. For instance I can't see Michael driving to war torn countries on his own to deliver aid, as Joey did.
