HI peter, You did so great, But what if frontend (vue) and backend(laravel) app are in one project that is the app is running only on one port 8000, when vue project is nested in laravel project, What should the redirect look like, I am having a little issue on this
@@ProgrammingwithPeter My app has only one port which is 80, but i have used vue js on frontend and laravel on backend, the vue is nested in laravel project. my google call back is localhost/auth/google/callback and I have defined /auth/google/callback route on my frontend vue index.js file, but when google hits this route it is getting 404 on my browser, but i was expecting the (Login with github, please wait) component you have created, my intention is to get the code from the call back but it is saying 404 in google callback. I hope you understand me
Thanks for your video I don't use Laravel, but this video helped me to write my own code with jQuery, AJAX, PHP for uploading images with Quill editor to my server.
Yes it is, but it's far more complex and you have to make the API really really well because third party will have to integrate with it. Example: Keycloak
You have an error in your algorithm, suppose you want to add multiple permissions to the meta the middleware will always take the last permission in the loop and set the result of canEnter depending on it. So let's say that the first permission can and the next one can't enter so the user cannot browse into the page because it always takes the last permission only. You should exit the loop once you find an authorized permission to fix this bug.
Now when we can safely assume that the virus killed this series, I'm interested does Peter plan the new series in the future? Anyway, this series was very useful and utilizes a lot of features, and the features are rounded up so they can be implemented in any other app, which is the most important. I was interested to see what this app is all about, but that's less important. This is the most useful series about Laravel + Vue on RU-vid.
There is a plan to come back, but with a different approach since I have even less time than before. Until then, thank you for watching and i'm glad that it helped you.
Good nigth broo, excellent course, I have two drawbacks, the first is that it throws me an error, class "App \ Actions \ Projects \ Project" not found, the second is that it does not launch the content section to add text

Actually its not the best case, but it would complicate even more our case, you should filter out and create a new array or object thst get sent to the action. Obviously as long as we specify that always we expect to get a request object, its ok, but I would recommend remapping and just send only what you need. Its ok for simple cases.
@@ProgrammingwithPeter ahh ok sir, because I'm planning to clean out the code using the action class :) because it makes more looks good and cleaner to read.
You will need to add a property on your model that represents your pages to store the content on admin and you will also need to have a shared view variable that is your current resolved page, so you can access it on your layouts header and take the content from the New property. If its not clear I will try to find a source so you can have an example.
It's alright tho, I think I explain how everything binds, also it's repetitive code, you can do the code yourself, it's not going to do anything out of this world, just generate the code for you.
@@sylvain351 True, but again The package is a generator, doesnt have anything extra on your code if you were to type The code yourself, you would need to adapt The code anyway. So, it generates code that you have to type, but nothing extra.
