Hello I have a Stryker 955 V2 with a built in amp looks like a longhorn N6 and it’s tweaked peaked hacked and jacked i don’t know how else to explain it ….. would be able to clean it up and make it sound better everyone tells me even turned all the way down with the amp off I sound like pure crap .
some radios the max mod works for but not for the stryker cause the finals are direct to the supply voltage now for radios that have the finals ran from the regulator it dose help . having said that the tip36 is more then adequate , the tip36 is a 125w max dissipation device the "max mod" is a toshiba150w max dissipation device they are supirior having said that its overkill for the circuit in question ..... its a salss gimic but it truly is a superior device but its not really needed great video people do need to know
Isn't that the truth... CB stuff is cost engineered to the max already, the makers don't put stuff in there that's not necessary so if there's an ALC/AMC in there then it's there for a good reason and especially so on something as non compliant as the Stryker. @@slcradiocable641
So, if my Connex CX-3300 HP, on low power, dead keys 2 watts and swing around 35 watts. Then I put it on high power, dead keys 12 watts, and swing aroiund 30-35 watts. You are saying it has been crunked up.
@@dgtr43you should have the radio checked out . There’s has been either a limiter clipped out of the radio or the modulation has been cranked up, both do basically the same thing to the radio
I have a 655 V1 wish I could get it turned down enough to drive it into my Palomar elite 400 hi drive . Because I think the bold audio of a Stryker driving 300-350 clean watts would be killer in my rock bucket

@@slcradiocable641I seen some how guys were running the old galaxy225 2 pill low drive kickers in mobiles I’m not sure how they are getting them cut back enough to run into a 2 pill I figured with the 4 1446’s I might be okay I really like the audio my 655 has the clean crispness to it but would love to be doing 400 out of it
