So glad to see so many comments on Adrain's singing. I just saw him last night with Jerry Harrison doing the Talking Heads-Remain in Light set. Adrian's gear didn't behave (I've seen it happen before with him), but, his singing just took over. I was reminded of what made me pay attention to him when I first heard the King Crimson stuff in the 80's. It was his voice. Then I realized what an amazing guitar player he is. Total artist. One of my biggest musical heroes without a doubt.
I grew up in the 90s and we had an old wooden TV set in the living room until about 2001 i think. I wish i still had that old box so i could retro fit it with a modern display.
Really good! I'm really glad you posted this, thanks. Look at Rat go on the drums! From what I understand, there isn't too much archive footage of them, because when fame came calling they were busy being idiots, so it's really nice to see this. It's a different act now, how could it not be, but they're still going strong! They're still going!
I learned recently Alex passed away not too long ago.33 year old American and I knew his voice close to heart as a teen and inspired me to want to play&sing in his style after hearing his takes on Flower of Scotland and The 40 Twa.Unfortunately,an injury stopped that from happening.I hope his glorious soul found his way home in the end though.May his enchanting voice forever ring through the hills of his homeland.🕊⛰🏰
Does anyone knows which string he’s pressing on 43:47 ? And why does the note sound so high? I can’t figure if it’s just feedback, really need a full explanation of this man’s technique
I had this as a kid. For some reason i have a visceral reaction of maybe panic or shame when hearing "i promise i won't tell" and sort of flashback. It's wild. I imagine i could have told this toy about truly traumatic experiences.
The Captain is out of control and the whole band just rips...At each of these shows people left with the mission of starting their own band. T.S.O.L. was one of those bands and there were plenty more. The DAMNED were always teetering between total anarchy and genius and they are still going hard today!
I saw him 11 days ago and it was THE BEST CONCERT experience of my life!!!!! He is gifted in the same way Bowie was gifted! I was still giddy 5 days after...now I feel a longing. I miss him!
Your video has helped me. I found one of these and the wave stirrer was off and missing the clip, this showed how it goes on and what it needs as there are 0 manuals for it.
Sadly, it was sold to the prop department of "Evel", a 2020 USA Network series about Evel Knievel that was never released. Never even got to see my TV on the TV!
The last time I saw him live he was playing a Stratocaster after many years playing a Parker Fly Signature. Long gone are the big racks but he always sounds great.
One just came in yesterday at the RE-STORE where I work, Fan had a pulse yet it barely moved, it was dry out, tried to oil it, still didn't work out. So I bought it for my self, took it home, completely overhauled the front & specially the rear Bearing, it works like new.
Wow.. This sounds just like my industrial fan on the kitchen area. The start up sounded exactly like that! Thought I'd never hear anything similar outside of that fan
